Is the USA only allowed to have two political parties? That seems counterintuitive. Non American asking.

Of course not, but the "Independent" parties have historically had a hard time getting their foot in the door (Ross Perot, Bernie Sanders, etc...) Non resident responding.

The Electoral College essentially makes it a two party system.

I will posit that today's announcement was timed intentionally. Trump botched his RNC speech after the first 20 minutes. The almost-assassination stopped being the top story. Trump just lost his #1 rambling point. The Biden crime family is irrelevant now. It was a rigged announcement I say.

Quick observation:

Why do we care whether it was a bullet that grazed Donnie's ear or a shattered piece of the teleprompter? By insisting it was the latter we're giving him the opportunity for yet another small victory by having his "doctors" insist it was a bullet that caused the wound because of course they would never claim otherwise. The blood was brought on by a bullet either way. It makes no difference.

It's just another monumentally stupid hair to split and Trump NEVER gives up on these minuscule, meaningless arguments because they're good distractions for him. Soon as you go down that road, you're playing HIS game.
