What's Your Favorite Movie Quote ?

Post by LSD69 »

I've always liked this one :

I met an angel.
I mean, she's a dancer.
She's so pure and clean.
Not like the rest of these whores.
-If I could be with her--
-What?
You'd be a good boy?
I'd be perfect. I'd be perfect.
I swear I would!
I would stop going to clubs.
I would stop drinking.
I would just lead
a regular life, you know?

With my wife and a steady mistress.
And I would have a decent life.

This woman has to be gotten to a hospital
A hospital ? What is it ?
It’s a big building with patients, but that’s not important right now.

"What can I say Mr. Hundert, who gives a shit? Honestly. Who out there gives a shit? About your principles and your virtues? I mean, look at you. What do you have to show for yourself? I live in the real world where people do what they need to do to get what they want. And if it's lying and it's cheating, so be it. So I am gonna go out there and I'm going to win that election, Mr. Hundert, and you'll see me everywhere. And I'll worry about my contributions later."

Don't forget: I'm also just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her.

Too many to list from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory to Office Space.

Not a quote per se, but this glorious scene from Half Baked (that I want to do every weekday): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0aF9kSLpeY

He was amazing in that role. Might be the best thing he ever did. And yes, I love Young Frankenstein. But he carries Wonka.

From The Producers:

Look at me now, LOOK AT ME NOW! I'm wearing a cardboard belt!

How could this happen? I was so careful. I picked the wrong play, the wrong director, the wrong cast. Where did I go right?

Nobody ever said a bad word about Winston Churchill, did they? No! "Win with Winnie!" Churchill! With his cigars. With his brandy. And his rotten painting, rotten! Hitler, there was a painter. He could paint an entire apartment in one afternoon! Two coats!

You have exactly ten seconds to change that look of disgusting pity into one of enormous respect!

Ted, won’t we get pounded if we go to a Senior party?

Weez, we got seventy dollars, and we got a pair of girls underpants, we’re safe as kittens, okay?
