I think Trump likes THE TRAPPINGS of the Presidency. He most certainly likes going on trips and pretending he's important. I'm sure he enjoys cabinet meetings, mostly because everyone will kiss his orange ass during them. But actual work? Like calling world leaders to discuss exactly what to do in Ukraine? Or calling people in Congress to pass some sort of bipartisan deal? Nah, he's not doing that kind of shit. Most people say that the last time he was in office he got up and watched morning "news" shows for four or five hours and then spent the rest of the day texting Sean Hannity.
People love to paint Biden as a doddering old man, but he did all the stuff that comes with governing. He worked with Congress. He worked with world leaders. He asked questions of cabinet secretaries, etc. He was actively involved in government, even if he had to speak a little slowly while doing so. But he did it. He also surrounded himself with smart people who know how to do their jobs. All the smart people who aren't racist asshats left Trump a long time ago.
Putin hasn’t spoken directly to Biden in over two years but he still endorsed Biden saying Biden is better for Russia than Trump.
