Red headed Bass player in Firehouse. That's the only way I've ever referred to him.
Always thought Mustaine was a ginger, sometimes his shit looked blonde BITD.....I don't know, although it would explain his behavior somewhat.

Yes, for awhile in the last MTV days, he started visiting a tanning bed and dyed his hair with blond tones. It was bizarre to see Mr Thrash succumbing to the LA thing for 5 minutes.

Isn't there a famously ginger Sludger in Idaho or Iowa or somewhere equally obscure? I'm sure he's been in a band or two.

Also not Hair Metal - But, I feel like a couple posters on my wall in the early 80's had a Bruce Dickinson who carried the ginger gene.

I always thought his look really hurt the band.
Their music was great but his big curly red frizzy Afro looked goofy as hell. He looks much better now that he straitened his hair and dyes it black.
I honestly think they would’ve been much more popular if he had the black hair in the 80’s.
