AS I LAY DYING - 4th MEMBER QUITS ... Shocking, the same guy who paid to have his wife Killed is also a POS to his band!
AS I LAY DYING ... What a shock, the same guy who planned to have his wife OFF'D, is also a POS to his band-mates.
Who knew?
I am in awe, that a guy who was charged with, convicted and sentenced to prison for trying to have his wife murdered is still getting a chance (again) in the business.
It also appears that based on each of these (now ex-band member's) statements, they KNEW what a pile-up this would be, and that Tim Lambesis is a huge POS, but they ate their own integrity to stand on stage next to this ass to stamp their passport, feel the rush of those large crowds and of course pay their bills.
Now, it appears that every member of the group, have now stepped away and said "No thank you" to being part of this jerk's band going forward.
In each of their statements, it seems none of them mention F#@K Face by name, but are thanking everyone else related...
This Lambesis guy is a real piece of work, I can only imagine there is a lot to what happened and in time we will likely hear more about it.

Drummer NICK PIERCE Quits AS I LAY DYING: I Need To 'Retain My Personal Health And Integrity'
Drummer Nick Pierce has announced his departure from AS I LAY DYING. His exit comes just six days after bassist/vocalist Ryan Neff said he was also leaving the group and just a couple of hours after guitarist Ken Susi announced his own departure.
Earlier today (Thursday, October 24),Pierce released the following statement via social media: "As of now, I am no longer playing drums for AS I LAY DYING. This is far from being the ending I anticipated, and I feel I need to distance myself from the band in an effort to retain my personal health and integrity.
"I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who followed and supported me throughout this journey. My goal has and always will be to create unforgettable memories with my friends and write music that will truly resonate with our fans. I'm proud of what I've accomplished on the road touring, as well as writing and recording drums for the new album.
"Looking ahead, I'm excited to continue my drumming career and pursue what I love most which is making music. My touring and session schedule is now actively open for new opportunities."
When Susi announced his exit from AS I LAY DYING, he wrote in a statement: "My time playing with AS I LAY DYING has come to an end today. I leave with so much gratitude for everyone who followed and supported me from my days in UNEARTH to this era of my career.
"I jumped into the AILD camp with full knowledge of the heightened dramatic history but had a drive to just play great music with great friends. Unfortunately, my personal morals have recently been tested to a breaking point, and it's now the saddest ending to what could have been the greatest second chance for this band.
"Ryan Neff is receiving a lot of backlash for stepping down first, and I regret not sharing this decision sooner and standing confidently with my friend — he's a flawless musician and an even better person.
"I'll miss you all on this stage, and I look forward to seeing you on the next one. Anyone looking for a guitar player? My resume is ready."
Neff announced his exit from AS I LAY DYING on October 18, writing in a statement: "This choice comes after much reflection, and I believe it is the right step for my personal and professional journey.
"I am grateful for the experiences and connections I've made during my time with the band.
"Thank you to all the fans for your support."
AS I LAY DYING's European tour, "Through Storms Ahead", which was scheduled to kick off on November 15 in Würzburg, Germany, has now reportedly been canceled. TuskaLive and Grey Beard, the promoters of the Helsinki, Finland concert on the trek, which was supposed to take place on November 21 at Kulttuuritalo, wrote in a social media post today that "the tour will not be rescheduled."
AS I LAY DYING's eighth full-length studio album, "Through Storms Ahead", will be released on November 15 via Napalm Records. The LP features the tracks "Burden", "The Cave We Fear To Enter", as well as the recently revealed "We Are The Dead" featuring guest vocalists Alex Terrible (SLAUGHTER TO PREVAIL) and Tom Barber (CHELSEA GRIN, DARKO).
"Through Storms Ahead" was produced by guitarist Phil Sgrosso and Hiram Hernandez, mixed by Aaron Chaparian, mastered Ted Jensen and album art once again created by Corey Meyers.
In June 2022, drummer Jordan Mancino announced that he would sit out AS I LAY DYING's tour due to "a number of ongoing internal issues" that "have not yet been resolved."
Mancino's announcement came less than a month after bassist/vocalist Josh Gilbert revealed that he was leaving the band. In a statement, the remaining members of AS I LAY DYING said that Gilbert "decided to exit" the group "to pursue other musical opportunities."
Josh was the second AS I LAY DYING member to leave the band in less than a year. In August 2021, guitarist Nick Hipa confirmed his exit from AS I LAY DYING, explaining that he could no longer justify being part of "a superficial pursuit" of the "story and meaning" that the band's 2018 reunion was built upon.
AS I LAY DYING singer Tim Lambesis was famously convicted in 2014 for his role in a murder-for-hire plot against his estranged wife.
In May 2014, Lambesis was sentenced to six years in jail after pleading guilty to paying a San Diego police officer posing as a hitman $1,000 to kill his wife. Approximately two and a half years later — on December 17, 2016 — he was discharged from a California detention facility and was transferred to the Division of Adult Parole Operations.
In June 2018, AS I LAY DYING played its first show with Lambesis in five years and released a new single. Lambesis also owned up to his crimes in a long apology on the band's Facebook page after his release.
The return of AS I LAY DYING raised some questions, particularly since Hipa categorically denounced the band's disgraced frontman as a "sociopathic narcissist in definite need of rehabilitation" in a social-media post back in 2014.
In September 2021, AS I LAY DYING released a new song called "Roots Below" which was originally a B-side leftover from when the sessions for "Shaped By Fire".

What's shocking is that anyone is giving this guy the time of day. There's plenty of other metalcore bands out there to listen to, and I hope the other band members go on to have success in one of them instead.
I've never heard an As I Lay Dying track that I can remember (maybe once on Liquid Metal on Sirius), and I'd like to keep it that way.

Marq should hire them and become Bulletboys
Joe should hire them and become Bang Tango
Jizzy should hire them and become Love Hate
Keifer should hire them and become Cinderella
Pearcy should hire them and become Ratt
They have tough choice to make all good options

Insane they all gave away their livelihood instead of hiring a new singer when the POS went to prison.
I know new singers is tough business, but they weren’t exactly doing Van Halen numbers in the first place.

Wow... shocking?
Someone must be overdoing it on the Steroids again...
Now another (4th) member of AS I LAY DYING has quit the band, with a similar statement like the others.
Why all of the "Politically Correct" B.S. statements? (see below, the latest from the 4th guy to quit the band in recent days)
Why is it that none of these guys have the balls to say; "Tim Lambesis is a huge piece of SH!T" and call the guy out?
It's obvious that Tim is the problem here, just as he was in his Family previously... you know, when he paid to have his Wife killed... I only add this, as it's fact and truth. And disgusting.
Lucky for the band members, he was already arrested, convicted and imprisoned once on those insane charges, otherwise he'd likely be planning or pulling something similar on them for going against his wishes.
Anyone supporting this Lambesis guy should question their place in life.
Friendship, business, whatever... if anyone I knew tried to have his wife or anyone for that matter Murdered, and was subsequently arrested, charged, convicted and sentenced for prison for said actions, that would be my LAST exchange or involvement with the guy. For eternity!
All of these guys are right back at square one, after giving this huge piece of sh!t a second chance with his stupid band.

PHIL SGROSSO Quits AS I LAY DYING: This Band 'No Longer Offers A Healthy Or Safe Environment For Anyone Involved'
Guitarist Phil Sgrosso has announced his departure from AS I LAY DYING. His exit comes just six days after drummer Nick Pierce and guitarist Ken Susi left the group, and 12 days after bassist/vocalist Ryan Neff said he was also leaving the band.
Earlier today (Wednesday, October 30),Sgrosso released the following statement via social media: "Hey everyone, "Thank you for your patience as I took time to gather my thoughts before speaking on the current state of AS I LAY DYING.
"With recent events, including the departure of band members and the cancellation of our European tour ahead of a new album release, it's clear we’re in a difficult and serious situation. Simply put, recent actions have shown that AS I LAY DYING no longer offers a healthy or safe environment for anyone involved — whether creatively, personally, or professionally. After witnessing some concerning patterns of behavior, I've realized that I can no longer, in good conscience, enable further actions that could negatively affect anyone working within this space. For these reasons, I feel it's in my best interest to completely distance myself, both creatively and personally, from AS I LAY DYING.
"I also want to share my full support for Ryan, Ken, and Nick, who made the choice to step away recently. I'm grateful for our accomplishments and friendship over the past 3 years.
"With 21 years that I have dedicated to this band, it does not sit well with me to leave or abandon what I've considered to be my 'life's work.' I don't feel that I, or others, should be forced out like so many have in the past.
After all that's been put into this, I believe that with the right adjustments and restructuring, our music can continue to thrive and explore new possibilities in a healthier environment.
"Over time, AS I LAY DYING has been held back by dysfunction, and I feel that it's no longer my responsibility to bear that burden.
"Thank you to everyone who has shown support for me and the music of AS I LAY DYING. I[m looking forward to putting my energy and creativity into new, more positive ventures in the near future."
On October 24, Pierce released the following statement via social media: "As of now, I am no longer playing drums for AS I LAY DYING. This is far from being the ending I anticipated, and I feel I need to distance myself from the band in an effort to retain my personal health and integrity.
"I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who followed and supported me throughout this journey. Re: AS I LAY DYING - 4th MEMBER QUITS ... Shocking, the same guy who paid to have his wife Killed is also a POS to his b
It really is strange to read all those statements and how they all make use of the passive voice.
Someone's making all of them feel unsafe and immoral and they can't name him or give specifics?
That's such a weird way to respect someone who doesn't deserve it.
Also not sure if anyone saw Tim's wife's statement. It's a little weird when a wife has to publicly say "My husband doesn't hit me." I thought, "Hmm, that sounds like something that someone who gets beaten by their husband would say."
Tank The Tech had a pretty good rundown of events as of last week: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KSieU6zUKes
For the record I've never heard an As I Lay Dying song. I'm just here for the drama.

All I know is I'm friends with the guys in Arnocorps, the Arnold-themed punk band. I asked the singer what he thought of Austrian Death Machine (the AILD singer's competing Arnold-themed punk band), and he said that guy actually come to an Arnocorps show so the singer went up to him and said "Hey- where's your goddamn notepad?"
That's all I know about AILD. besides the murder stuff.

This still all screams money to me. They have a new album coming out, and were actively promoting songs on it, so seems like maybe they were all expecting to have new contracts to go along with it, possibly due to previous promises, and Tim screwed them. Phil being the last to leave probably has to do with him being the only member left that dated back to the early 2000s from before the prison hiatus, so I think maybe he had a different agreement versus the new guys being strictly guns for hire.
All just assumptions on my part, but it almost feels like when Shawn Drover and Chris Broderick quit Megadeth over money, just amped up 10X because Tim is a bigger asshole than Dave.

I'm guessing Tim Lambtits owns the name?
What's to stop the 4 quitters from forming As I Stand Living and playing AILD songs and moving forward with another singer and new material?
L.A. Guns and Queensrhyche (and others) went out with two different versions, these guys should go to war with Lambtits with their own version!

Seems like it, the other four members (at the time) formed a band called Wovenwar with a new singer when he went to prison. But that could just be that they wanted to get away from being associated with the band for a bit.Psychobolia.com wrote: ↑Thu Oct 31, 2024 5:19 pm I'm guessing Tim Lambtits owns the name?

How long before this ANIMAL brutally assaults or kills someone legitmally? Guy likes steroids as his defense rather frequently.

I'm not really a violent person, but I feel like that dude needs an ass-whooping.
