Yep. Though technically "Dr. Feelgood" is their highest charting song on the Hot 100. That one doesn't have the legacy that "Kickstart..." does for some reason, though. Must have just ridden the initial wave that came with the album's release.

Highest charting doesn't necessarily correlate with most famous song.

AC/DC is a classic example of this. Money talks is their highest charting song in the US, but it probably wouldn't be in the top 20 most famous AC/DC songs. Just right time, right moment for that song to be released to chart well that didn't stand the test of time.

I'm gonna say it's Girls, Girls, Girls or at least it was for probably first 20-30 years after it was released. Things change as generations of fans die / are born.

Shout was released years before the Dr. Feelgood songs, so not surprised it has more plays in the set list.

Strange metric to use. Shout is a fan favourite but the average joe is far more likely to know girls girls girls for example.

When they reunited at the AMA in 97, what song did they play?

Next question.

I mean that was over 25 years ago, and so what. Kickstart my heart has surpassed it in popularity. Ask 100 people on the street and I guarantee more will know kickstart my heart than shout at the devil.
