As much as many may not like him as a person , I was surprised by the ONE DAY gain in my investments .

Everyone will have a different mix , but mine went up 10% in one day , wow . Never experienced that before . (At least at this dollar level)


When I asked my wife to guess our gains today , even she was flabbergasted when I kept telling her …. higher…higher…

Granted , there will be some profit taking , but it does set a new benchmark .

When you gain more than a year’s worth of salary, in one day, it is still pretty shocking (but obviously in a good way ) .

Well, the stock market loves unfettered capitalism. Mostly the oil companies drove the rush. The Rs will control all aspects and thus regulations will go out the window. "Drill baby drill." EPA regulations will be dismantled (again). Interest rates will continue to drop (they already are progressing that way).** Commercial loan activity will reignite. Environmental issues will be ignored. If Teflon Don is smart, he'll continue to infrastructure reinvestment Biden pushed through, because it's creating tons of factories/jobs in chips (computer, not potato, fatso), transportation, electric batteries, cars, etc.

All this to say, it'll drive the market for a couple years... and by year 3 as always happens to Republicans' unfettered capitalism... we'll see warning signs. They'll get ignored. And you can pretty much bank on a financial "crisis" late in year 3 or early 4. Past two Republican presidents are responsible for the two worst financial crises of our lifetimes, because they're greedy bastards.

Or the fact that the economy of the past 3.5 years has done remarkably well, considering. Intelligent people making decisions have kept things in balance. Biden barely campaigned that election, made a rare video message from Deleware. He was always a long time gaffe prone Washington insider and not getting any more appealing with age and time. Hard to believe he inspired the biggest show of support ever seen for a candidate. Plus he blew away Obama's performance only in the "swing states" and underperformed Obama almost everywhere else and there was little down ballot extenstion of that support to the house and senate race for his party. Emergency COVID rules changed all of the voter verification procedures suddenly and chaotically with mail in ballots. Courts were overwhelmed with lawsuits with most never being heard.

2000 was questionable with the Bush/Gore Florida thing and supreme court deciding that. Don't think 2004 (Bush), 2008 & 2012 (Obama) or 2016 was fishy, but that 2020 one looks way more suspicious after the one here in 2024.

Also, being an experienced but not very controversial Washington insider may have been an advantage for Biden in 2020 after four chaotic years when voters wanted stability and predictability.
