I wouldn't be surprised if they both have a screw loose, I think you kind of have to not be right to get with a guy who tried to hire a hitman to deal with his ex. I remember looking at her IG way back when, to try to figure out how Austrian Death Machine worked with her as a vocalist, and she seemed...off. Like, clearly she was very dedicated to exercise and managing her appearance, which, I mean, a lot of people on IG are style over substance, but she just seemed very...robotic? Aloof? I don't know how to describe it. It was one of those things that was like, yeah, she's hot, but I don't think I'd want to hang out with her.

CLEARLY he's an asshole, and there's no defending his actions in those videos, other than maybe that he at least knew enough to hit himself rather than her, but after the Amber Heard thing, I'm more than content to have this be a private matter and let the courts sort it out.
