They have a handful of promo videos, and American Bandstand appearance, a few shots in the film “Foxes” and some 8mm crowd stuff. Even Punky said there isn’t much. I don’t think there is any multicam concert stuff at all.

They actually filmed a full concert that was going to be an official release, but Casablanca shelved it and no one can locate any of the footage as of a few years ago.

It’s a shame because they were known to have a cool stage show for their time.
They never charted or played anywhere bigger than theaters... 5 albums was nothing in the 70s. Even the shittiest bands usually got 3 records before getting dropped.

It's absolutely idiotic to contend Zep weren't A-listers in the 1970s.

Why comment when you are totally clueless? Angel played plenty of Arena shows opening for other bands and as headliners. They even played stadiums like doing Super Jam here in St. Louis (headlining). And what does charting have to do with anything? KISS and plenty of bands have multi-cam shows from long before they were at album #5 or had any “hits” or regular airplay.

My point was they weren't some obscure local band who no one happened to get any footage of. They released albums and toured for years like most of the other bands of their era who have a lot more video out there. They played a lot of the same venues like Cobo/Summit that were taping nearly everything.

Go to 1980 and before…

I knew you’d pick a choose like a loser who can’t admit they don’t know what they are talking about. KISS, RUSH and many other bands did those gigs. No mention of the areas and stadiums the same year, huh? Fuck off

I didn't read the whole thing. Lot of package tour dates where they were 4th on the bill on the 1st couple pages. That's not really making your case for you, gramps.

You looked for the high school gig like I knew you would. Madison Square Garden, Cobo , the Summit, Kiel Auditorium and LOTS of other arenas and stadiums that all the other bands played were as clear as day in their 70s run. And yes they even headlined some of them. Not that it even matters in this discussion. You said they never played anything bigger than theaters and any actual fan and not just a troll knows that isn’t true. Will you admit you were full of shit? I doubt it.

I didn't "look for it", it was staring me right in the face, and it wasn't like they were still coming up at the time because the gig list is in reverse order. I'm sure Punky likes that you're white knighting for him. Maybe he'll come on your podcast... but you'll have to promise not to come in his mouth.

Sweet. Very little actual live footage. Some lip synched or partially lip synced music t.v. appearances.
