Legitimate artists may need to sue the fuck out of streaming services until things change.

Another reason to hate Crapify.

The only reson to like them is that they openly say f*ck off to RTO, or "Our employees are not children. Spotify continues to work remote".

One of the few companies who dare to stand up against this stupid, money and time wasting post pandemic trend. It’s time for a shareholder rebellion, CEOs shouldn't waste company money on expensive offices if it's not needed.

Don't confuse this with them giving a shit. They're only doing it because they're saving money on office space. They clearly don't give a fuck about anyone including the artists.

That's even better because it's a solid business case. Add to that more productivity, less turnover and lower absence, and RTO becomes an expensive luxury trend few will be willing to pay for.

Yeah, there's a point in meeting your colleagues. But not every day or every week unless you really want. Every year, I can agree with that.

Who gives a shit... Spotify is lying and cheating to ripoff artists and make a mint off their backs.

This I am not going to argue with.

In a perfect world Pirate Bay would have thrived and labels and artists would have sued the shit out of Spotify before they got off the ground.

Home taping didn't kill music. Spotify and Crapple did.

I literally just got Spotify a couple months ago. I am not a fan of streaming. Even compared to MP3's the sound sucks but if you just listen to it without A/B'ing it, it's fine. And obviously it's convenient.

But man does it suck for the artists. It's one thing when Desmond Child complains about making $80 a year off of LIvin on a Prayer now. He made his money already. For NEW artists, God damn it's discouraging. These days, it seems like touring is the only way or at least the best way to make money as a musician.

I am not a fan of streaming either but those I know who are say Spotify have the lowest quality. Tidal and Qobuz seem to be their favorites so if quality is your issue you may want to try them.

Streaming reminds me of 1990s and stuff like RealAudio. Remember?

Universal Music, Warner Music & Sony Music have all been co-owners from the start. Just imagine how all record company bosses bought shares early themselves knowing their companies would go all in supporting Spotify. They have all made millions by now!
