Here's a quick mix I threw together. Back in 1982 Bryan Adams co-wrote some material for the CREATURES OF THE NIGHT ALBUM. This is one of the songs that ended up on the album. It had actually been recorded earlier by BTO with a different arrangement. Recently Bryan recorded and released versions of this song and also "War Machine". I thought it would be interesting to here Bryan's great, raspy vocals on this but with KISS' heavy arrangement and production. Of course Gene does a fantastic job singing this one but I love Bryan's voice a ton and he has a great delivery here.
The story goes that for the KISS version Gene insisted on a 3rd verse in order to share the writing credit. For this version, I've left out the 3rd verse which Bryan doesn't do on his version and instead it repeats the pre-chorus before the ending instead.
The only other change I made was to boost the guitars a bit. Otherwise it's the 1997 remastered version straight from the CD.
nice job but I think Bryans vox pale in comparison to Genes on this.
Also, I realize Gene might have only done a verse to get writing credit, that verse is necessary.
Look at me sticking up for Geno

Yeah, like I said Gene nailed it and has an incredible voice when he isn’t in “demon” mode. Just an experiment. Notice I didn’t bother with “War Machine”
I think your time would be better spent volunteering at a soup kitchen.

Listen, I am 100% self-taught and don’t want to sound arrogant, but Ezrin himself would probably shake my fucking hand for how I managed to put that all together. Anyone who knows anything about music would know that.

How do you know I don’t do both?
If you do, then you have time to stop this silly shit and do more. People are starving out there.
