My first thought it "Man, I'm gullible".

I thought maybe it was the "W"est Coast M3 Festival.

Or maybe the infamous "W" bands tour: Whitesnake, White Lion, Winger and Warrant!

I guess it's the cry baby festival where none of the fans are happy because we only get one original member and he's in his 60's now and all the songs are 30-40 years old.

I've been to both Rocklahoma and M3. The 10 hour a day festival thing is draining to be honest. I'd rather have a solid 4 band package but again...that's me being a cry baby who's never happy.

I gotta wonder though. How is it that Springsteen, Billy Joel, Elton John, Rod Stewart, Paul McCartney...all these guys can put on great shows well into their 70's even. (Elton not so much....but he's still a legend). How can they keep it together so well but our 80's rock heroes can't?

Personally, I think Winger and Warrant are the 2 best sounding bands out there and it's no coincidence that it's all original members except Mason replacing Jani Lane who is no longer with us. Is that the answer? Because the new guys just don't have the magic that the originals did?

Easy. $$$$. And lots of it. They don’t travel in busses or vans. They travel in style, stay in the best hotels and they don’t have a care in the world as long as they are healthy. They have assistants around them to blow their nose.

A lot of the 80s guys have to do it or they would be working at Walmart or Guitar Center.

Ahh... I was just having a little old skool sludge fun here...

I saw the day after M3 announced, they shared a BLANK poster, with their graphics, only there were NO bands listed.

It's actually still there... up on FB. > https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=92 ... 2207520000

And I saw several people saying stuff like, "Maybe they're trolling us, since we complained, and they're saying "Fill in the blanks" and make it better!"

Which it appears, some others did on this actual post I see several like 5-6-7, and on the M3 Rockers page there are more, etc...

So... I just said... "Hey, how about if I flip the M upside down, and make it the W3 festival! And add all the W bands", like someone noted above, Winger, Warrant, Whitesnake, etc..

Then it got out of hand, and I figured, let me just add the W to everyone's name. :D

Funny... some loved it, some hated it, of course I am jealous, blah, blah, blah, etc... Ha!

Also, several comments on social media were like "Huh? I don't get it?"

Either way... some people can take a joke, others can't!
