Deep Purple is still going

Post by Chip Z'Hoy »

Ian Paice is 76.

Roger Glover and Ian Gillan are 79.

TOO BAD THEY WEREN'T BORN IN THE STATES, WE COULD ELECT DEEP PURPLE PRESIDENT.

Oh, I'm just being droll. I love our President. Viva Elon!

They need to stop.

It's absolutely idiotic to contend Zep weren't A-listers in the 1970s.

I can't imagine that they make enough cash to offset the embarrassment.

I saw Deep Purple last summer. Best I've seen with them since the tour with Satriani so in 30 years. Getting a new guitarist improved the whole band. I never liked Morse or the albums with him.

It is, and it got me into listening to them again. Really solid album.

This is the truth. New guy is a breath of fresh air and energy, Best album in decades. Saw the tour last summer. Well worth it.

Not even close to what it was in the 70s and 80s but better than it was last time I saw Purple.
Or he got better at using what he has and stay within his limits.
