I love ACE and he surely was great. However Uncle Ted is a better player and his skills have not diminished.

I don't see a comparison between the 2. Very different styles
They laughed at their gods
And fought them in vain
So he turned his
back on them
And left them in pain

This. They’re both awesome and both different in their playing styles, but for the sake of the OP’s poll, I’ll go with Ace.

Ace was in a band with tons of good songs and looked fucking cool

Nuge was in a band with a small handful of good songs and looked sort of ok.

As far as technical ability and what one could do with the guitar, Ted Nugent absolutely destroys Ace on every level. So, Ted Nugent and there is no other correct answer. However, Ace had very limited ability yet still had his own style and sound and wrote memorable solos. I actually prefer his solos over Teds.

When I go back to listen to the Nuge it's his first few albums with St. Holmes that made his career. It gets bad after that.

So Ace did have more songs, and he looked waaay f'ing cooler, I'll give you that...but lick for lick the Nuge is the undisputed heavyweight champ.

I never thought about how attractive the Nuge is as a man though.

Wait a minute, did someone let killdumb back in??

Ped was a far better technical player but fumble-fingered Ace managed to create more memorable solos on record somehow.

Yep. Don't care how good you are in your basement, it's what you do with it.
I honestly would never know if someone stole my Nugent records.

I agree with this. I can hum pretty much any 70's Ace solo, but I don't have much from Ped. Ace for the win.
