Just happened to see Paul Gilbert post about how, even though supposedly they had played their final show last summer in Romania, they were playing two shows in India and Japan.
I mean, I'm not remotely surprised at all, I don't think any of us really expected that their last show wouldn't be in Japan, and especially not in fucking Romania, but...how does this happen?
Billy Sheehan specifically pitched a fit about having their last show be a poorly attended festival in Eastern Europe, so he must have really thought things were over last summer, did some promoters just back up a Brinks Truck to Eric Martin's house, to the point to where he changed his mind?

Or something fell through the cracks and they ended up in Romania in front of 30 people and they decided to extend it and really end it where they are popular and have a proper final show?Anthrax442 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 22, 2025 12:48 pm Just happened to see Paul Gilbert post about how, even though supposedly they had played their final show last summer in Romania, they were playing two shows in India and Japan.

No, I get that, but what I'm saying is, it seemed like Billy really thought they were "done". I don't begrudge them at all going out and getting a payday, I just wonder what in the band changed, that all of a sudden they weren't quite so "done".Velvis wrote: ↑Sat Feb 22, 2025 1:22 pmOr something fell through the cracks and they ended up in Romania in front of 30 people and they decided to extend it and really end it where they are popular and have a proper final show?Anthrax442 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 22, 2025 12:48 pm Just happened to see Paul Gilbert post about how, even though supposedly they had played their final show last summer in Romania, they were playing two shows in India and Japan.
