What I'd be worried about is this dude and the foo generics supported back in day some crazy group(s) that said AIDS wasn't real - if I recall correctly, aids was still a life sentence thing & medicine hadn't gotten to the point of making it a chronic disease ...
THATS fucking scary - this dude was fucking the side chick, & who knows how many more, unprotected....

Men will be men and I'd imagine if women are making themselves available, it's hard to say no at some point. It's probably good to for those types to have some sort of open relationship with a "as long as you don't embarrass me" clause.Whatever Happened To… wrote: ↑Mon Nov 04, 2024 7:23 am This is a really unusual situation. For someone as high-profile as Grohl to be living a double life like this took some serious skulduggery. Giving his wife and three kids the slip for however long this went on for without getting caught must have been quite the rush for him. I wonder how he justified it to himself, the lies he told, the stories he made up as cover. You'd think the post-nut clarity would've been a wake-up call but he kept going back for more. Rawdogging an ex-porn actress without contraception at this point in his life was certainly a choice. Can't believe he didn't get the snip. His bandmates must've known or at least been suspicious.
What separates Grohl though, with many of the stories that came out, is that he treated women like dog shit. He would have relationships and then totally ghost women. He clearly looks at women only as objects to be used and then disposed of as easily as possible.
Here's the thing... this shit happens more than you think where some rich guy or famous star knocks someone up.... often they pay to keep it quiet and if you ever hear about it, it's not until decades later when the kid is an adult. Why did Grohl have to announce the pregnancy? I'm going to guess it's because he was being a total piece of shit cocksucker to the woman and she threatened to out him so his hand was forced.
Mr. Nice Guy Dave Grohl is a selfish piece of shit.
I remember when people would talk shit about this guy and both of his bands on here twenty years ago and you all would snap back and double-down on the “Dave Grohl is the nicest, most down to earth guy in rock.”

I think this is pretty similar to the Arnold Schwarzenegger situation....these guys can be great to fans, friends, bandmates etc. for decades, have a reputation for being very nice but they can still be unfaithful, fuck up and end up in a situation like this.Tommy2Tone84 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2024 10:35 am I remember when people would talk shit about this guy and both of his bands on here twenty years ago and you all would snap back and double-down on the “Dave Grohl is the nicest, most down to earth guy in rock.”

His act wore out a long time ago for me. I'm suspicious of anyone who's the biggest fan of everything the way he does it. It's one thing to be respectful, but it's always over-the-top phoniness with this guy. He also, never saw a camera he didn't want to jump in front of either.Tommy2Tone84 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2024 10:35 am I remember when people would talk shit about this guy and both of his bands on here twenty years ago and you all would snap back and double-down on the “Dave Grohl is the nicest, most down to earth guy in rock.”
Maybe he'll finally go away for a while.

Even with his faults, I never thought Arnold was fake. Dave, I always questioned his authenticity. He liked to play up the nice guy persona while making fun of everybody at the same time. I never got his sense of humor. I will say he and his legions of minions were very convincing. I got to the point where I was questioning and thought that I had him pegged all wrong. It turns out I was right all along. The Prez wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2024 10:47 amI think this is pretty similar to the Arnold Schwarzenegger situation....these guys can be great to fans, friends, bandmates etc. for decades, have a reputation for being very nice but they can still be unfaithful, fuck up and end up in a situation like this.Tommy2Tone84 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2024 10:35 am I remember when people would talk shit about this guy and both of his bands on here twenty years ago and you all would snap back and double-down on the “Dave Grohl is the nicest, most down to earth guy in rock.”

Very well said. What an idiot this guy is. Way to take a winning hand in life and just light it on fire. Doubt he is truly sorry either since this was repetitive behaviour, likely just sorry for himself that he got caught and outed. Career built off of soccer Dads creaming their cargo shorts while blasting "the Foos" in the mini van while in the Starbuck's drive through after dropping the kids off at school.
So I say "fuck him".........
