"...Taime, who was performing with the punk band."
Wut? I thought Fasterpussy Cat was glam/hair/sleeze metal or hard rawk. They'd been dressing kinda gothic in recent years. Are they a punk band now?

Re: The 80s Cruise - Wife of bandmember jumps
The ship I was on had like hockey-rink-glass safety barriers all around the decks. I'm a little skeptical that a 60 year old guy who was a heavy drinker and chain smoker until recently got so mad at his girlfriend that he picked her up like he's John Cena and tossed her over a 5-6 foot barrier. In front of very prominently displayed cameras, no less. Guests can even watch the footage from most, if not all, of the decks from their rooms. It's a whole TV channel.
It's not impossible, in the sense that through God all things are possible, but it's extremely unlikely and the murderer would be in cuffs right now. There'd be no ambiguity or mystery.

The balconys in the staterooms do not have that sort of thing if you've ever been on a cruise ship.Chip Z'Hoy wrote: ↑Tue Mar 04, 2025 3:20 pm The ship I was on had like hockey-rink-glass safety barriers all around the decks.
I'm not saying this guy tossed her over, but to say it's impossible as has been stated is not true.
Generally, there are cameras the show the sides of the ship so it's possible they have video footage and will know exactly what happened.

Ghost Guy, if I said "I get laid quite a lot" and gave you one example from 1988 and another from 2006, would you agree that maybe that's not "quite a lot"?

Re: The 80s Cruise - Wife of bandmember jumps
On the Alaskan Cruise the wife and I did we had a private balcony which would be easy enough to go over without having to raise someone over your head Six-Million-dollar-Man Bigfoot style, but the common areas usually have higher barriers. She must have climbed up on it or some shit. hilarious that this is all you've got. Context is a bitch, in'it? They say humor and intelligence go hand in hand which is why you don't understand humor. You probably even think that cartoon ghost guy is really a satanist.

By a lot, I meant people going overboard. And someone stated that nobody could be thrown overboard which is just not true because it has happened.Chip Z'Hoy wrote: ↑Tue Mar 04, 2025 4:24 pm Ghost Guy, if I said "I get laid quite a lot" and gave you one example from 1988 and another from 2006, would you agree that maybe that's not "quite a lot"?

NeonKnite's reply gave me a laugh. "Getting thrown to your death" is definitely an acceptable counter-argument.

I'm genuinely interested if you've reached out to Bob.
I'm pretty sure he'll hire you on to mix his next album.

A grown man that spends countless hours concocting fantasy Kiss remixes in his basement because his life clearly has very little meaning in it criticizing someone who listens to music more recent than 40 years ago is funny shit.

Not my basement, my office in the beautiful one-of-a-kind home that I 100% designed myself. I retired at 55 so I have plenty of time to do the things I enjoy. And I just released another album of my very OWN brand new music a couple years ago, dopey. At least when I do KISS stuff I know I am reliving those great childhood memories I have of being a kid in the ‘70s. Not sure how a grown ass man worships a scary cartoon rock band though.NeonKnite wrote: ↑Tue Mar 04, 2025 5:48 pmIt's cute that you finally found a friend.Wiseacre wrote: ↑Tue Mar 04, 2025 5:44 pmNeonNitWit can’t afford an UberChip Z'Hoy wrote: ↑Tue Mar 04, 2025 5:41 pm

A 50-something KISS fan that still plays with his KISS dolls casting judgement on music someone else listens to is quite comical. Shows how little self-awareness you have.Wiseacre wrote: ↑Tue Mar 04, 2025 6:02 pm

You were genuinely upset that the KissFAQ didn't give you the hero worship you so desperately crave and feel entitled to.

Re: The 80s Cruise - Wife of bandmember jumps
The only exception to this rule (that I know of): Michael Hutchinson. Dude clearly died trying some kinky shit and his family was like “nope, it was suicide”.FreddyFender wrote: ↑Tue Mar 04, 2025 11:12 am Nah. You don't go over on one of those ships without doing it voluntarily.
It's just that no one ever believes their friend or family member committed suicide. If there is the tiniest possibility for some other angle, they cling to it for dear life.
Example: Chester Bennington and Chris Cornell. When they offed themselves, both their wives were on social media saying there was foul play. They only dropped it when there was no other explanation.
but boxer Aruto Gatti is the one I always think of. Dude hung himself in his hotel room on vacation. Police arrested his wife initially because he had an injury to the back of his head, but after an investigation they found out earlier in the day he had been beating his wife in public - a crowd gathered and they were throwing shit at him to get him to stop. Busted his head open - Real Sports even found the cab driver whose cab he bled all over. Turns out he had severe depression and had previously attempted suicide, but to this day EVERYONE who knew him - family, friends, people in boxing, all claim he was murdered. Delusional.
