‘One Night Love Affair’ - Bryan Adams from the Reckless album was a better #6 single release IMO.
There’s only a handful of albums that labels even considered release 6 singles from.

very, very catchy, with tons of hooks.
and yes, terrible lyrics.
Not sure why people are surprised they never really wrote great /hit songs after Hysteria: Mutt Lange! That dude wasn't just a producer -- he was heavily involved in the song writing, did backing vocals, arranged shit, etc.... Those songs are just as much him and Def Leppard.

Shania Twain's Come On Over went seven or eight singles deep.

And it was basically a DL album with a chick singer and the distorted guitars replaced with a fiddle

Love these old school memoriesCharles Bukaki wrote: ↑Sat Mar 08, 2025 9:13 am I saw them on the Hysteria tour twice. Once in December 87 and again in October 88 at the same arena and as popular as they were the first time around, it was nothing compared to how huge they became. I went to the first show by myself because nobody I knew wanted to go. Ten months later they sold out the same place within hours and added a second show that also sold out. Most of my friend group and the day after the shows I saw a couple dozen other people wearing Leppard shirts. People who don't normally go to shows were going to this one, or trying to get tickets. Cranking out single after single like they did made them massive in 1988.

Mutt also wrote Loverboy’s “Lovin’ Every Minute Of It”.ALMOSTsaved wrote: ↑Tue Mar 11, 2025 2:14 amI've always thought Bryan Adams's "Waking Up The Neighbours" was "Adrenalize Part II" or vice versa. The songs and backing vocals are literally interchangeable thanks to Mutt Lange.

It wouldn’t be out of the question to hear Def Leppard doing it.
