Maybe that's how you took it, but unless you read every single post the aggregated the story, you can't say that with authority.

Also, as far as "implications" goes, if you DON'T fill that out, and you have Alex trying to finish a bunch of "unfinished" songs with a world class studio guitar player, whose job for 50 years has been to namelessly contribute to thousands of albums, what exactly would you guess that guitar player is going to do? Maybe act as a producer and finish/clean up parts to fill out the songs?
