” I think the revelation that Gooch is keeping his hand under Nardi’s uploads while having others taken down contributes squarely to the negativity.
Now, in their own right, AI and restoration are both hot topics. Clearly, many of us think Ken is going too far, adding stuff that was never really there and replacing entire performances. Many would argue that’s not what restoration is about, but it wouldn’t be a problem if his versions existed sides by side with more faithfully restored originals, such as Andrew’s, but with Ken able to operate under the watchful protection of The Goochfather, that is clearly not the case.
Imagine the outrage if Bob Ezrin had the original mix of Destroyer buried after releasing Destroyer Resurrected. That is essentially what this is, only with easily available fan favorite concert and promo videos.”

Im sorry the FAQ lives in your head. Just enjoy all the comments on your youtube page, and forget about them!Wiseacre wrote: ↑Sun Mar 23, 2025 2:52 pm More lies (or at least extreme misunderstanding and misinformation)…why the hell do people keep saying the same nonsense when I’ve explained reality multiple times???
Facts: NONE of the videos or live shows I have worked with are claimed by Curt Gooch. NONE. Every concert I did is all over YouTube in its original form by multiple other channels including Necramonium’s “restored” versions with original audio and no other changes.
I have never claimed hat I am doing “restoration” of ANYTHING. They are creative reimaginings, fanstasy “what if” mixes and “RECREATIONS” of what those shows might have sounded like if they had been professionally recorded and released officially rather than the crap soundboard audio. I Frankenstein different things together which his where that name comes from. I am remixing albums to try and make them sound more like I wish they had sounded or maybe even how the band and/or other fans wish they sounded. They are 100% not required listening and I never believed they are necessarily release-quality though I do my very best considering I have zero original source material. I am deconstructing the exact same CD versions you all have and putting them back together. Obviously if I had multitracks the results could only be that much better.
I clearly say in all the descriptions of my stuff that what I do is NOT for the purists. I have zero ability to “disappear” any of the original material nor would I want to. That was never, ever the point.
Now read this with what I have said in mind…again, it’s OK if you don’t like what I do, but this is all just untrue.

You know, I never really liked the song much even as a kid, but after doing the new video I started to actually appreciate what a great anthem it really was for the band at the time. The studio version is uber lame and boring and after a couple tours, it always sounded like a sloppy, rushed mess, but I tried to bring some new dynamics to it with the video. trying to MKGA.HueyRamone wrote: ↑Mon Mar 24, 2025 10:53 am Im even sorrier that you had to listen to RARAN countless times to make this. I never wanna hear that song again as long as I live, I can only imagine having to work on it to get it 'right'!
He used to party every day. Then it was every other day. Now he's lucky if he can find a half hour per week in which to get funky.BernieTaupson wrote: ↑Mon Mar 24, 2025 5:53 pm The irony of RNRAN being Gene’s signature song, the guy has never partied once in his life let alone every day.
