Frank: I’ll be back in the States later in January. I would assume we’ll start doing rehearsals sometime in April to get ready for the tour. So, in the next couple of months, it’s just, get woodshed as much as I can, go visit my family back east before I’m gone for a little while, and stuff like that.

Yeah I don't think this was his choice, and he didn't see it coming either. As of January he was already planning for April rehearsals that would start in the next few weeks.

That’s getting a boot with a fairly short notice after 19 years in the company.

Faceless, nameless replacement member who left absolutely zero mark filling a spot in a once legendary band.

I have no fucks to give.

Kind of surprised Slash's drummer Brent Fitz didn't get it as he plays the few GNR songs in Slash's set pretty faithfully to the originals.

I agree! I was hoping for Brent. He is a fantastic drummer!

Adler must feel so dissed.
I think he could do it.
He's not in Road shape like the other guys but he wouldn't f*** around. Two weeks into a tour he'd be doing good and in a month he'd be solid.

I bet you if they gave him a no partying contract like before, he wouldn't even question it.

And if he did, well he's made his bed several times

Just saw Fitz play the entire Elder set on the KISS Cancer Goodbye Show. Great drummer with good feel.

Adler can more than handle his drum duties on a tour,
but the 2.5/3 hr show is asking a lot out of any musician
I can’t believe Axl hates Steven this much. The fans have
been screaming for a legit reunion with Steven. Have this Isaac guy cover the CD era and Adler take the kit on Appetite tunes. Obviously not a new idea but I can’t understand why not?
If Adler didn’t resort going back on the H after the 2016
reunion without him….he’s obviously beaten his addiction

The finally announced the next guy yesterday. Supposedly a good player, but I wasn't familiar with the name. Someone named Steve Moore. Maybe he'll take a stage name.

I remember when Slash played The Wiltern I think around 2012 and I was standing next to Adler and he was looking at Fitz and said to me "I used to play like that!" Funny lived in a building with Adler in Century City in the 90's and was Fitz's best man at his first wedding!

A 2.5/3 hour show is asking a lot of the audience too. I for one wouldn't complain if I got a 100-120 min set.

I also wonder if any other factors are at play like re-budgeting now that they are playing shows with only slightly less frequency. I noticed in 2023 that they probably shouldn't be playing back to back nights anymore unless they trip the set down a bit.

Also Frank likely has an NDA so you probably won't be hearing his side of the story any time soon.

Could this be an Axl excuse for not releasing new music anytime soon? Frank was a nobody / We’re on 9 years since the reunion tour and
the fans have gotten 4 songs from AXL’s GNR
Slash on the other hand is releasing albums somewhat regularly.
