Bruce's performance will be the best part of this show.

An advertisement popped on Facebook and it had "I've had enough (Into the Fire)" playing. Great song. Would be cool if KISS played this song. But my money would be on the Bruce band playing it if it does happen.

Bruce Kulick Show … excellent!

So Paul and Gene won’t be performing with Thayer and Singer?

The special guests will be their sons … I’m calling it on this day, March 27, in the year of our Lord 2025.

Can any of the children play drums?

Yeah, the children being involved is a solid bet.

Paul’s kid can probably play anything.

They’re trying to sell tickets with this “special guests” BS and it’ll probably be Thayer and Singer.

What is Ace’s touring schedule in November?

If they wouldn’t invite them to the last show why invite them now? No makeup argument? Time is running out? Tickets? All of the above?

I would prefer that more than hearing firehouse by Paul and Gene.

Right, and all of those people still had to travel to the US to attend the cruise.

I don't see the difference, it seems like you're just grasping for some way to make a KISS gathering about Trump.
People from all around the world are more likely to spend their money on a cruise, than going to Las Vegas. Currently, there are people who don't want to travel to the U.S. due to that piece of shit in office. I support their boycotts if that's the case.

They'd like to believe that, but people keep reminding them how important Ace and Peter were because they get questioned continually so they have to come up with sound bytes like "we couldn't have started this without them, but we wouldn't be here with them." Yes, you wouldn't be here with them because they aren't going to accept pennies on the dollar like the two yes men Tommy and Eric.

Anyhow, I called this years ago. As soon as the tribute band line-up ended, Tommy and Eric no longer served a purpose and you'd barely hear anything about them again. And it's already starting.

I only just noticed that the show they'll be doing isn't actually acoustic, but electric. Wow.

This whole thing -- from the cancellation of Gene's solo dates, to the leaked email, to the decision to actually move forward with this despite the reception -- is beyond bizarre, especially on the heels of the Asylum merch drop where they erased Carr and Kulick.

They'll obviously need at least two other people on stage. Maybe they stopped paying Thayer and Singer at the end of 2023 and plan to use work-for-hire / day-rate guys (think Tichy or the guys in Ace's band that used to be in Gene's band)? Or maybe it becomes a guest star kind of thing a la Metal Allegiance and cruise ship jams where different "celebrity" players come out for different songs?

The rub is that they're calling it a "one-of-a-kind Kiss unmasked electric show" and "the first time that Kiss has performed together" since "retiring," but if it's only Gene, Paul and whoever, is it really a Kiss show? (I know, I know... it's been Gene, Paul and whoever for 40+ years of the band's 50-year run, but still)

I know it is SOP to rag on all things KISS anymore, but I feel this will be completely underwhelming to all except the KISStards spending thousands on these packages.

Hey my wife-cousin, I'm going to spend our entire savings on this ONCE-IN-A-LIFETIME extravaganza.

John 5 is a really good bet to be a “special guest”.

I ASSume they’ll bring up different guitarist and drummers for a song or two, 99% songs will be from 1974-1976 … Coming Home, Goin’ Blind, She, Hotter Than Hell, Got To Choose, Plaster Caster, Parasite, Christine Sixteen, Love Her All I Can, RnRAN … it’ll be the same songs they did in soundchecks without tracks.

I think I’ve nailed the setlist fellas … high five!

They're trotting out the "I WAS THERE" badge again.

It made sense when they did the conventions, I guess, and the reunion tour.

This is pathetic, though. What 57 year old is bragging "I WAS THERE" to an overpriced old fogey convention without even the full band?

Depending on the decade or time period, Gene has talked out of both sides of his mouth on this. Paul, I believe, thinks the sun revolves around him. As much as fans give them shit though, it’s not like Ace or Peter for that matter, had too much of an aversion to playing with Eric Singer in 2001 or Tommy in 2004. I know Peter complained about it in the press after the fact but he still did it. Ace doesn’t place as big of an importance on Peter as Peter did Ace. Ace is as bad as Paul, imo. Both think they are solo stars. Delusional

Gene spitting absolute garbage.... Doesnt even know what this high-dollar unmasked show is going to be, and the Avatars will blow everything else that actually exist away.

Gene Simmons offered more details about Kiss' upcoming performance at November's Kiss Army Storms Vegas event, which will mark their first show since their farewell tour concluded in December 2023.

The three-day convention will take place from Nov. 14 through 16 at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas and include an unmasked, electric performance by Simmons, Paul Stanley and unspecified special guests. The announcement drew sneers from fans who have grown wary of Kiss' multiple farewell tours, but Simmons insisted the performance will not invalidate their final voyage.

“We will not do the makeup. We will hold true to the promise,” Simmons told the Las Vegas Review-Journal. “There’s no stage show. There’s no crew. We won’t have 60 people levitating drum sets and all that stuff. This is more personal gathering of the tribes, where we meet them, greet them, maybe have a Q&A.”

Simmons also hinted at several other attractions that will take place throughout the weekend. “There might be some Kiss tribute bands, almost like a convention, if you will,” he added. “So it’s much more personal. And of course, we can’t get by without playing, so we’ll get up and do some tunes. What they are, how long, I don’t know.”

Gene Simmons: Kiss Avatar Show Will 'Blow Away' the Sphere

Simmons also elaborated on Kiss' planned avatar show, which was previously reported to be debuting in Las Vegas in 2027. The singing bassist would neither confirm nor deny that timeline ("Nobody wants to find out in July what they’re getting for Christmas"), but he said the show will be worth the wait — and eclipse Las Vegas' other premier concert attraction, the Sphere.

“Without taking anything away from [the Sphere], because it’s terrific — it looks like they’ll go broke, but I hope not, because it’s all about giving people excitement," Simmons said. "But our Kiss avatars, with the name being a placeholder, is gonna blow that away.”

“Imagine if some magic happens, and you’re thrown into another realm, another dimension, another reality, and everything that you’re aware of disappears,” he added. “Oh, it’s great. It’s crazy.”

Tommy was paid more money than Peter during the "Symphony", Japanese, and KISS and Aeroshit tours.

Tommy and Eric are no longer employees of Paul and Gene. KISS is no longer a touring band. KISS is no longer a recording band.

If Paul and Gene want them, Paul and Gene will offer them new contracts. Or perhaps, it's Pophouse Entertainment who would offer Tommy and Eric new contracts. The same might be the case for hiring Paul and Gene, since Pophouse owns KISS now.

Not all of Gene's show have been cancelled (as of 3/30/25).

"Leaked email" or just pretending to be "leaked email". More likely just a buzz to see what the reaction would be like before the official announcement.

I have no interest in seeing Gene or going to Las Vegas, so it doesn't matter to me in any way.

Don't know if that Carr/Kulick issue has anything to do with Paul/Gene or if that's strictly the doing of Pophouse Entertainment.

The Las Vegas announcement is half-assed. Every band/musician playing should have been announced before tickets went on sale. The KISS electric show's lineup should have been announced.

As of right now, the only thing known is that Paul, Gene, and Bruce will be there.

And yes, Eric and Tommy are no longer employed by Paul and Gene. If Eric and Tommy perform at the Las Vegas show, then either Paul/Gene or Pophouse Entertainment will offer them a new contract.

Pophouse will throw money at Peter Criss to secure him being there.
They need to do something to shake up the interest in the brand they’ve bought.
A handfull of older men will think it’s cool when he sings ”Beth” & ”Hard Luck Woman”.
Ace is not as important as you can catch him on tour all the time and he’ll ask for too much money anyways and end up with nothing, as usual.
