Anyone else see this?
Yes. This is definitely one that they didn't keep top secret.

In a movie full of really strong characters, he still managed to steal the show.

Damn he suffered a long time.

He was great in the Doors movie.

I forget he was Batman.

He foresaw his death by filming a fictional military burial for ICEMAN in TOP GUN 2 (2022). :(

But while alive, BATMAN FOREVER and The Doors were the g.o.a.t.

It got terrible reviews but I really enjoyed The Island Of Dr. Moreau (1996) with Val Kilmer and Marlon Brando.

His documentary was good but heartbreaking to see him like that. He's forever linked to Jim Morrison to me. He was perfect for that role. RIP Val Kilmer!!!

I almost forgot...he was in the HEAT film with De Niro and Pacino.

It was such a great cast, Kilmer was kind of overshadowed.

Somehow I woke up to this news, here, this morning.

Don’t sleep on his roles in Willow and Salton Sea, in addition to the many others mentioned here.

The cast of Heat was amazing, but I think he was OK with being overshadowed by them. Apparently, he was kind of fixated on landing parts in films featuring legendary actors and directors. That would have to be the only reason he signed onto that Dr. Moreau disaster with Brando.

He got lucky in Heat. He was like the only one that was going to get to enjoy the fruits of that bank robbery. I was happy for him though. I often wondered if he was ever going to be able to be with Charlene again. You could tell that he really liked her. Also, she was good for him. She was much more responsible with the finances and wasn't afraid to speak up if Chris was mishandling their bank sccount. Plus she "HAD A GREAT ASS!!"
