How did that alter your life?
I have a license too, but I'm not driving as long as I can afford a taxi

How did that alter your life?
I've never had a drivers license. All the money I saved not driving I invested when I could bought something brand new off the lot and drove it right off a cliff instead.Love_Industry wrote: ↑Fri Apr 04, 2025 11:52 amHow did that alter your life?

I've noticed that moving back to your hometown usually isn't a good idea. There were reasons for leaving and those reasons don't go away by themselves. One person I know well also says that it's the thing he regrets the most, and couldn't re-integrate there at all, but now he can't move again for (very good) personal reasons, and two others moved back because they were unhappy and guess what, their life back home is even more miserable.Charles Bukaki wrote: ↑Sat Apr 05, 2025 9:50 am Moving back to my hometown after leaving for less than a year in my early 20's and not dealing with my depression in a healthy way. It took me until I was damn near 40 to get it together and while I'm in a pretty good place at 52, it's still an ongoing process.
Same here, or I'll let my girlfriend do the driving.Love_Industry wrote: ↑Fri Apr 04, 2025 11:52 amHow did that alter your life?
