I tried to listen to some Dr. Hook. I think I prefer 00s JBJ vocals.

Well, yacht rock wasn’t even a term back then, so what would you call them? By your logic there are probably a ton of BS “subgenres” and titles for them. I mean, rock n’ roll is rock n’ roll is rock n’ roll, isn’t it?
