The fact is he’s one of the last viable 80s acts.

Skid Row not touring with all 5 original members is such a waste.
Ratt should do the same with Blotzer & Carlos.

Not quite following the assumption that a reunion with SB would be a financial windfall for anyone.

They’d get one tour cycle in bigger venues, likely on a package tour, and then they’d be back to the same venues they’re currently doing on their own, but the three main principles would each be getting a smaller cut than they currently get.

I dunno...a well-managed and promoted Skid Row reunion could probably do what they did with Black Crowes, putting them in venues like the forum.

Live nation needs acts that size that could form the center of tours.

Same story, too...band members fight,. yada yada yada, reconciliation happens, then they do all of the interview shows for that reality TV buzz, and awareness then boom: The concert nobody ever thought they'd see.

MAYBE they could do 900/nite.

There's NO WAY they're selling 1000 tickets in the US outside of NY/LA , maj mkts.

They may have 1500 people there, but there is no way more that 500-700 are paying.

And for what its worth, they're good for about 350/nite currently in UK.

The Forum has a theatre configuration and competes with the smaller venues to get as many events as possible. Not really sure if it was still profitable after all was said and done.

with a reunited skid row as the headline act, theyre playing 2500-3000 seat places which will sell well or sell out...PROBABLY 2 dates like this in A markets like NY, LA, CHI...

again, not bad by ANY means for a band from that era, but when i see people harping on this reunion (which is never happening) delusions of grandeur appear and people talk about ARENAS, etc

the ONLY way skid row is playing arenas in 2025 is if another larger band took them out as direct support, which is very plausible but also a VERY different scenario in terms of a payday

ALSO factor in that bach would now be getting a significant chunk of the payday as opposed to whoever the next assembly line singer is that they pay a fraction of what bach would want/get, and it might not even make snake etc anymore money to put up with the incessant manchild

Actually, this is exactly NOT what TG said in the podcast.

And, in fact, Chuck and Tracii predict/bemoan that the comments will get taken out of context.

Well done, you did exactly what they said someone would do.

All told, Tracii was very complimentary of the Skids and very honest about the fact he wouldn't leave that kind of $$ on the table. At no point did he "slam" anyone.

Even when he was asked about Corabi or Nikki, the was very diplomatic. Frankly, he sounded as even keeled and happy about his place in life as any rocker could be.

Just like with Skid Row, LA Guns or most of these acts, if ALL original guys are in the band, of course there is some added value, but how much, and is it worth it?

Obviously there are levels to this, and the reunited versions of GNR or Crue, Poison or even SEP & Warren, that moves the needle enough for them to say "Okay".

Skid Row is much further down that food chain from GNR, Motley Crue, and Poison... no question... and in the end, it appears that Snake, Rachel and Scotti have said "No" to whatever is being offered.

What pretty much the ENTIRE PLANET don't know... is what Rachel, Snake, Rob and Scotti all know. Obviously Rob has opted to go Switzerland, and plays middleman.

It's also been publicly talked about that after the 1st record blew up, Bach pretty much said; "This or else!" and threw his weight around, demanded a larger cut then the others, and he got it... according to his own words.

One can only imagine what happened back then, what happens today (with his solo band) and how things are negotiated.

Each has a manager, each have an agent, each have select crew they use, each have their own record deal, each has their own inner-circle of friends, family, etc...

It's not as easy as the guys all getting in a room and saying 'yes' or 'no' to a few details. There is a ton of sh!t to sort... especially at that level.

I think it's hilarious how the fans and sideline reporters chime in as to why the other are wrong or the problem.

Simply put... they don't want to do it... and Bach does.
