About a week ago a DJ on Hair Nation talked about this. He said he was with Billy Sheehan recently and that he told him he "played on a new Peter Criss album and that it's really good." He also said that Billy Sheehan played it for Ray Luzier & Ray asked "who's on drums?" and Billy replied "Peter Criss".

He never had to get a real job and, with the exception of 1994, never had to play small clubs.
It boggles the mind.
Not many of the musicians discussed on this board managed that.

Not even Criss himself. Living off Kiss money until 1995 maybe, but he was back at clubs and county fairs already in 1984 with the Criss Penridge Alliance. And bombed, the tour had to end after less than 10 shows (7 on setlist.fm, may be a few missing). Then he was playing clubs from 1992 to 1995. Not to mention that in 1986 he joined LA band Balls of Fire and played 10 shows in LA area clubs, some even as opener...
