No, he needs to not take it anymore. But that means he needs to take it for some amount of time first.

yup...i am in the area too....a few months ago I got a call at my desk that a visitor was in our conference room and needed to get his Macbook hooked up to our room monitor....I ran up there to help this person and lo and behold it was Dee!. Def not expecting that. We talked a bit. He was there talking to some local officials about support for his family's new entertainment company here in NC. These people didnt really know him...I told him off to the side as these people were being introduced to him, "I bet I am the only one here who knows what a SMF is"! He laughed and told me the origin of the term. Cool day at the office/b]

That would be awesome! I wish I had a rocker living in my neighborhood. You must live in a nice housing track if someone like Dee is living there

Tell Dee that he didn't hit any of the high notes on his cover of "Lay It On The Line". He's no Rik Emmett.

Dee goes on local North Carolina morning tv show announcing he is living in the area! Big house with all kids and grandkids!
Watch out Rob Zombie..Dee moved to make movies with his production company!
Nice win for NC!
Way better than watching your local morning show and maybe seeing the sh*thead bass player from Nirvana moved in  ..that would be f*cking nightmare

Moves his family to rural NC to get away from the hustle of California... then proceeds to hit the morning shows to talk about it. And Oak Ridge is certainly rural! (Between Greensboro and Winston-Salem.)

Funny in the interview he mentions he wants to "turn NC's movie industry into what Atlanta's done." Such a newbie comment, considering that Wilmington, NC was the top production location on the east coast (aside from NYC). Up until about a decade ago when the state legislature took away the incentive program.

Hate all you want but Widowmaker singer is going be great Santa at Greensboro mall

All future Star Wars production is coming to Oak Ridge
He can take his motorcycle out..Ride The Wind ..meet up with dude that introduced Trixter and Funhouse videos on Headbangers Ball on his down time

Those Laguna Beach days are nightmare only 78 today no traffic or people in sight..rooftop dining “sucks”
Pretty sure Party Gras with Bret and Mr Snider will come to San Diego maybe in winter so we get Christmas Snider doing TS songs
Jani Lane and Bret Michaels should form a band called "Nelson II"

SMF is so good live, but the studio version is so blah because it is so slow and lacking energy.

So, what's the origin story?

They referred to their fans as “sick mother fuckers” and then Dee wrote a song about it and then they recorded it and then they played it faster live and eventually there was this thread.

Yeah, this makes no sense. After the legislature removed incentives, we lost a lot of that work to Georgia.

Whatever the main reason is for the move, he's not saying it.
