Crue could have been a Bon Jovi type if Vince kept (or got) his shit together. He hasn't cared in decades. If he made minimal effort to stay in shape and took his vocals seriously, they'd be packing shows, but he's become a punchline. So yeah, I'm Nikki or Tommy I'm pissed as hell.
Please... how many years have they had to get this straightened out? If that's the case, they've got only themselves to blame.

But here's the actual thing... Mötley doesn't give a shit what Vince does or doesn't do. They know that the shows are garbage and they don't care. They never have, and they never will.

You're missing the point. They haven't cared in the past because they have always put asses in seats regardless. When there are no shows because people aren't buying tickets, it's a problem. People WOULD be buying tickets if Vince kept his shit together. All the fat-Vince memes and disgraceful vocal videos have caught up to them.

The evidence suggests otherwise. Vince has been in a terrible shape for a long time but they have still done arenas/stadium tours.

Yeah. I mean, Vince has always been what he is.

I would imagine that the reason for lack of interest is that there is not enough demand for Mötley Crüe. The stadium tour was only three years ago and even after that they've been touring on and off. And they've obviously been touring on and of since...well, forever.

There is a zero momentum or anything happening for the band. Why people would rush out to see them now? No matter how Vince is onstage, that won't increase the demand.

Tommy isn’t following Nikki or Courtney but following John 5 and Vince.

John 5 is following all members

Maybe the fellas aren’t getting along anymore and that is a reason why shows have been cancelled and they’re using Vince as an excuse?

What do you think?

I’m not following any of them if that adds to the conversation .
I am following Britney Spears though. I don’t want to miss it, whatever it is, when it happens.

I think vince’s incessant solo shows impact the residency more than the other crue shows. My bet is residencies in Vegas get more hicks who won't go into a city for a tour stop. But are already co ditioned to drop money in Vegas. The problem is Vince has played their ShitHole County Boar Fest 7 of 9 years

Referring to Vince's constant touring and his reluctance to resurrect Motley, Nikki said in an early-00's interview that people aren't excited for Thanksgiving when they eat turkey everyday.

Vince's perpetual indifference has always been part of his "charm"........

IMO, the addition of John 5 and and complete garbage they have released (The Dirt soundtrack, Cancelled EP) is more a deterrent to ticket sales than Vince's (lack of) performance.

A Vince solo show is more "rock & roll" than the phoned in production of a Motley Crue show.

To be fair, most of the people who attend Mötley Crüe shows have no idea they’ve released any new music after Dr. Feelgood. Let alone know about few random songs that dropped a year ago.
