What Monkees song sounds like Yngwie on guitar?

Years back when the Monkees show was on every afternoon , I remember hearing a song that featured a Classical guitar in the background. I don't even think it had a solo spot. But the way I recall it it was pure Shred. It sounded like Yngwie doing arpeggio type stuff on an acoustic. I don't remember anything else about the episode. I'm curious if it was as technically impressive as I recall

What's kind of odd is there are two versions of the song. There was a version recorded for the tv show during the first season, but it wasn't released until the 90s when it showed up on a rarities collection. As the show was winding down during the second season, they made a new version, with added horns, for their fifth album, and that is the one that was a single.
