"Greatest Hits" by TP & the HB's is certainly in the discussion. That, & KISS' "Double Platinum", of course.

Ton of them

Eagles
Journey
Elton 1&2
Beatles
Bon Jovi
Hall & Oates
Black Sabbath
GnR
Cars
etc

Obviously not the best, but I'll go off the baord in the hair metal category...and say Whitesnake has a sneaky great greatest hits album

Not saying it’s the best album, but Aldo Nova’s Portrait covers anything you would need by Aldo Nova.

Cmon. Whether you like them or not, you cant deny you've heard a hell of a lot more than 3 on the radio.

The Doors seems like the number one band that everyone just has the greatest hits of. That and Bob Marley.
Eagles prolly next.
Fleetwood mac, they just have Rumors, instead of a GH

Deepest Purple (especially the deluxe re-release version)
The population explosion would be less of a problem if lighting the fuse didn't feel so good.

The doors first record covers about 90% of all doors needs. I think there are 2 songs on there that aren't radio staples.

With Fleetwood Mac, you need the eponymous album AND Rumors.

Rhiannon, Over My Head, Say You Love Me and Landslide are all pretty essential.

That's actually a terrible comp. 5 songs from Detonator? 🤮

It's absolutely idiotic to contend Zep weren't A-listers in the 1970s.
