So I guess this didn't happen?
Re: “Ratt” with Jake E Lee tonight in Las Vegas
I’m sure it’s been said before on this forum, but is there a definitive reason why, with all of Ratt’s post Robin guitar player changes, Jake never rejoined the band as a FTM?

I dunno if they were going to play together, necessarily, I think it was just a nice picture.
Pearcy/DeMartini absolutely played, and Sebastian guested on two tracks.

Wth happened to him? Was the Badlands crash'n'burn just too much for him to handle? Or was he already unraveling personally as the band was musically?

No one knows for certain. He's actually been around playing pretty much this whole time, but guitarists that were half as famous as Jake in the 80's have got lots of opportunities to at least pay the bills, meanwhile Jake spent the past 30 years mostly in projects like this:Bono Nettencourt wrote: ↑Sun Jun 15, 2025 7:06 amWth happened to him? Or was it losing the Ozzy gig that accelerated the issues?Bono Nettencourt wrote: ↑Sun Jun 15, 2025 7:06 amWth happened to him? Was the Badlands crash'n'burn just too much for him to handle? Or was he already unraveling personally as the band was musically?

Idk... he got the Badlands deal pretty quickly and seemed to have his head together for the 1st album. #2 was when they started leaking oil.ParaDime77 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 15, 2025 1:42 pmOr was it losing the Ozzy gig that accelerated the issues?Bono Nettencourt wrote: ↑Sun Jun 15, 2025 7:06 amWth happened to him? This “reunion” did happen but Jake did not perform.
“Nothing to do with reuniting, starting a band, and No, Jake E didn’t jam as I was hoping, next time. Point, always great to see the Ratt brothers.”

I thought the 2nd album was about as good as the first (and the third with the demos was also just about as good). It was after that . . . The Japan-only solo album that was just really raw demos with drum machine and stuff. That and the "weird but not good-weird" Wicked Alliance suggested something wasn't right. I liked Red Dragon Cartel, though, particularly the 2nd album he did under that name.Bono Nettencourt wrote: ↑Sun Jun 15, 2025 4:07 pm

I'm just glad Jake survived that shooting a while back. He got very lucky to have a clip emptied and actually hit 3 times to still live to tell about it. I'd imagine that has got to mess with his head every time he leaves the house. I guarantee he changed the hours that he walks his dog.
I've watched the Tone Talk episode with him a couple times. The one where him and Dave are pretty much shitfaced and Jake seemed like a really cool guy. No big ego or anything.
