It would be so funny if the next President would launch an investigation to strip Elon and Melania of their citizenships. This would actually have a chance of success as they both violated visa regulations before becoming citizens.

While we all love him telling trump to f off, there's some things he needs to be doing here in CA.
First and foremost, having local police departments, arrest these so called ICE agents that are snatching people off the streets like it's Nazi Germany! No warrants, no identifiable uniform, no badges, wearing masks, and no body cams!

And unfortunately this is why the hard right keep winning. They might hate Trump, or think he's a moron, but they love power more. And if you love power for its own sake you have no principles anyway. Whereas the futher left you go, the more there are demands for ideological perfection, and potential supporters will shout down or not vote for candidates because of one specific issue. An obvious example is all those people who specifically didn't vote for Kamala because she didn't support Palestine enough, who therefore let in a guy who's in lock-step with Netenyahu and probably wants Gazans to leave or die faster so he can get his new resort built. Newsome as president would have flaws, as did Obama and Clinton, but surely you can see he'd be better than Donald Jr, or Vance, or whichever other snake oil prince eventually gets chosen as St Donnie's annointed successor?

I get that all candidates have their flaws. Although I can't think what Obama's might have been when he ran in 2008, except for the obvious! Not a flaw, he was just black.
I remember telling a coworker we are either going to have a black man as President or a woman. He asked how I knew that, I told him there is no way this country will elect a Republican after the Iraq/Afghanistan wars, the housing crisis, etc., there's just no way.
8 years later, we have Hilary Clinton running against Trump.
In my opinion, Hilary was probably the most qualified candidate we have ever had for President.
She was a brilliant lawyer in her own right. She was the First Lady of Arkansas, she was the First Lady of the USA. She was a New York Senator, and she was Obamas Secretary of State.
I'm not a huge Hilary fan, but you can't deny her experience.

She wasn't progressive enough for the far left, though, and it seems more and more lately that the far left is growing in size enough to cost liberals and centrists elections, unfortunately. She was too establishment for the left, and of course she was public enemy #1 in the eyes of the right, especially among right-wing conspiritards who love to herp derp their crazy theories about Seth Rich, Vince Foster, etc.
