Very underwhelming considering the good reception he got for the M3 show. Only 30 % or so sold for the concerts I checked. And the venues are pretty modest size. Guess the demand just isn't there.
I'm starting to think the days of guys our age buying tickets months and months in advance are gone. A combination of having seen everyone before, crazy ticket prices (particularly surge pricing when tickets are first available), and just live music taking a back seat to life just make it not as important.
Yup. Classic VH diehard here. I'm planning on buying a ticket the week of if I feel like goin'.

But... again, I understand the age factor is huge! Look at Ozzy. Legend... but a sad grim reality.

I really wonder what condition Ozzy would be in today if hadn't crashed that quad-bike in 2003 when he nearly died. It seems like that and the subsequent neck/back surgeries is what truly screwed him in the end.
Nah, a fall does not cause Parkinson and Parkinson is why Ozzy is fucked right now...

Sounds like he's physically more affected by the different injuries than Parkinson's based on the interview below.

‘If I had a choice between the Parkinson’s and the f***ing neck, I’d go for the Parkinson’s. I’ve been laid up for a year now,’ Ozzy said in 2020.

‘First I had an infection in my hand – that pulled me off the road – then I got pneumonia, then I had the fall, then I had surgery and here I am today. It’s driving me nuts.’

In 2023, Ozzy announced he was undergoing his final ever surgery, because he ‘can’t do it anymore’.

He told The Osbournes Podcast that he will soon have the ‘final surgery on my neck.’

‘Which it is going to be the final surgery because I can’t do it anymore.

Regardless of the way it ends up after tomorrow, I’m not doing it anymore. I can’t.’

Describing how the injury and subsequent surgeries have affected him, the reality star admitted his ‘feet feel like I’ve got bricks tied to them when I’m walking.’

He added of his ‘slow recovery’: ‘I’ve recovered from alcoholism, drug addiction, all of the above. Then I tripped over, and that’s it.’

Since his 2019 fall, Ozzy has endured multiple surgeries, including one he ‘really didn’t need’ which saw his body reject ‘two big metal plates with screws’, Sharon revealed in 2022.

‘The screws in the plates were coming loose and as they were working loose there was debris from bones and muscle and it was caught under his spinal cord’, she shared.

Yeah he had drug-induced Parkinsons when The Osbournes was being filmed.

It's absolutely idiotic to contend Zep weren't A-listers in the 1970s.

I'm starting to think the days of guys our age buying tickets months and months in advance are gone. A combination of having seen everyone before, crazy ticket prices (particularly surge pricing when tickets are first available), and just live music taking a back seat to life just make it not as important.

When I was 15 the idea of being excited about a concert 6 months down the road and having tickets and talking to friends about it seemed pretty, but now? If I decide I am going to go, I'll buy tickets the day of a show. If I don't make it, it is not the end of the world.

The last few times I looked at tickets when they first went on sale it was irritating with the pre-pre-presale codes, followed by the pre-pre-sale code, then the regular pre-sale, and eventually general public. Usually the first "pre-sale" doesn't even sell the good seats so it's just a load of shit anyways. By the time the good seats are available they are all gone and on the 3rd party ticket sites.

I have literally found tickets on TickPick and StubHub for sale before any of the presales have even started.

Back in the day you would go to Ticketmaster wait outside until they opened at 10AM and got the best available seat at that time for the same price as everyone else.

So, I have chosen to fuck all that noise and just wait until the day of. I usually get a better deal and a better seat.
This is spot-on for me. I used to be in the “I gotta buy a ticket the day of release” camp 100%. Now I’m a day-of or at most a day-before buyer as I almost always had/have buyers remorse for getting a ticket and then not being excited to go the closer it got. Especially if it wasn’t in my town.

I’d go see Dave if this tour was near me just to say I did for nostalgia’s sake…but I’d wait until til the last minute to buy a ticket I’m pretty positive.

He looks fine to me. At this point, if he bothered with plastic surgery, he'd wind up looking like Madonna. Not good.

Agreed, good move to stay natural. And he is in great shape considering he has had several big surgeries done. There was one interview where he was talking about that. Even talked about a young kid he would see at the clinic, trading stories about the operations and sharing peer support.

I remember when he gave his retirement announcement he spoke about the doctors saying he risks his life every time he goes on stage. I always interpreted that as certain movements being dangerous for his spine or something. Just guessing of course.

It’s a good guess.
