If you go back from 1990 the same amount forward we are now, you get to 1955. That's before The Beatles, before Brian Wilson, before The Byrds, and only 1 year into Elvis Presley's career.

Sir, this is MY story, and I've had my own blowjobs.

Imagine being a part of all those sh*t generations before
Growing up with something extra stupid like The Byrds or LameASS Beatles ..no wonder those lives absolutely sucked

Hanging out with cheerleaders(female)listening to Roxy Blue..Want Some? having best life ever listening and going to best shows ever- same life in 2025

Being roadie during that era must have been weird..you are with Showtime Lakers but you are the traveling water boy
Getting Michael Cooper water was best time ever!!!!
Jani Lane and Bret Michaels should form a band called "Nelson II"

Erryone knows 1990 was only 15 years ago.
Of course it was :)

I was 19, went to the US for the first time, graduated high school and David Coverdale tried to pick up my girlfriend outside Cafe Opera in Stockholm. Also, met Black Sabbath on the Tyr tour and most important, totally nailed the SAT whih is why I am not driving Ubers today. A pretty good year even if it ended with me doing military service during the Gulf war - but luckily not there.

PS. Right now, a 55 year old twice divorced mom in France is trying to convince her kids that the guy who sings Here I Go Again once wanted to bone her. And that she back then had a boyfriend who got a degree, money and a job. Not sure which is less believable.

Do you mind me asking about your music career? From the board I guess I saw you were roadieing for Poison at one point and then tour managing, I guess? Again, really cool. Are you still in the live biz?
I was a guitar tech for Poison starting when I was 18 in 1985. I then went over to L.A. Guns until '92. Was on some of the biggest tours of the hair band era.

Stopped touring, started my own bands which did okay, but starting a music career in L.A. in 1992 after grunge hit was just kind of impossible. Nobody wanted L.A. bands. All of my friends who put bands together in the preceding years got signed, so I figured it was my time for that (I mean, if fucking Fasterpussy Cat could do it, I certainly could  ), but it just did not happen.

Kept playing. Been in a million bands at this point, some of whom have had records out (The Magnificent, The Brutalists, Killing Machine) but most of whom have not.

...decades pass, and now I travel a lot doing tribute bands that make good money (and some with Huey that don't). I also produce music and shoot videos for people and have my first documentary project coming up, which is kind of cool. Have adequate money, good car and hot girlfriend. I am pretty stoked on a daily basis.
Thanks for the openness! Good on you man… sounds like a life well lived so far. Keep it up!

You aren’t the road dog 85 instagram dude by any chance? He kept popping up for me a while ago but not recently.

You should write a book!

You should start a blog called Metal Sleek and detail your travels to a music hub and adventures along the way.
