terrible!

Panama and Drop Dead Legs are better. I like the backing vocal arrangement in DDL.

He started doing that weird high note DNTA around 2012, it's been 13 years butchering it!

Frehley would look at this and tell him he needs to step up his game, the fans deserve better.

Vince as well

God damn. That’s like a wounded cat wailing. What in the actual hell? His anonymous band is pretty damn good, though.

looks like IEM problems in his right ear but he also has wedges? definitely not his best performance. It looks hot, maybe the humidity took out his voice? I can see him trying to find his place at the beginning.

I saw VH many, many times in their prime (late 70's + early 80's)... this is hard to watch.
DLR needs to stop this. He sounds legitimately brain damaged when he 'sings'.
Oof.

Don, Vince and JBJ have some real competition.

That is very unpleasant to listen to! I dont care how big a DLR nutswinger I was, I wouldnt be able to deal with that. Just like Paul's caterwauling.

1988 was his last stand. After that he’s been a washed up parody of his former self.

I never thought I’d say this in 1982 but:

Why isn't Brian Johnson mentioned among them? He sounded like absolute arse at the recent Gothenburg show for example. He sounds decent in the studio but so does even Paul Stanley.

I say this as a die hard but if there’s ever been a person that needed a stylist/consigliere/guru/manager type (really I’m referring to Pete Angelus) back involved in his life, it’s Dave.

Band - perfect for what he needs.

Stage set up - fine, understated by most likely financially fiscal.

DLR - terrible. He’s had six years to get it together and I know atv his age that can’t be easy to do…but it sure does seem like other old dudes can pull it together better - whether it’s the “look”, the sound, the substance the total package. I mean just somebody telling him to go out there and not look like the old preacher from Poltergeist smiling 99% of the time would be a giant help. It’s the weirdest most creepy look.
