Re: Where’s Vince?
According to set list.com Motley Crüe has played “Wild Side” 1275 times live. Let’s guess another 500 for Vince solo shows over the years. How much grey matter is left in that giant head if you can’t remember the lyrics by now ? It’s not exactly “Rhyme of The Ancient Mariner “ . His brain must be 75% scrambled eggs.Vince Neil Eats wrote: ↑Sat Aug 02, 2025 2:05 pmCognitively, I don’t think there is much left. He’s not moving right and definitely struggling … he’s not well.
I’ll cut him some slack because he’s recovering and shouldn’t be on stage.

Re: Where’s Vince?
I agree with everything except for the lazy part. Vince used to run around even when he was Mongo fat he would still move. I realize he's in his 60's but he's moving around a lot like Don Dokken. I'm putting Vince in the 2026 death pool list. Motley is done.kytepunches wrote: ↑Sat Aug 02, 2025 11:16 am What were we really expecting fromVince ? He has always been one of the laziest, unprofessional frontmen ever. I think he’s a year or two away from putting on some Jack Russel’s final tour shows. He has been an absolute embarrassment for 20 years already.

Maybe they can put together the ultimate festival for all these fans who dont mind paying for krap.
DLR
Paul Stanley (does the catalog of Led Zeppelin, as well as select Crazy nights songs)
Dokken
Vince (or Motley, who would headline)
Not sure current Pearcy is bad enough to be allowed on the fest. Maybe?
GnR have to prove Axl is going to sing in pure Mickey Mouse voice. He's had select "on" nights, and that wouldnt be allowed.
Anyone else?

He's locked away at one of those James Bond-style "health rejuvenation" clinics. Likely the one in Baja California.

On “That Metal Show,” they said the rumor a strong rumor is he had a heart attack? Who knows what else went along with that?

Father Time is undefeated. Vince is 64 years old and never was the epitome of health the past few decades. This level of movement and performance is typical for someone at this age who lived the decadent lifestyle.

Dude was TRYING to read most of the lyrics. I don’t know how anyone would not leave on the first note. That didn’t even look like one of those “Oh, it’ll still be fun” shows.

I feel bad for Vince but you have to give him credit. He will always be a legend in my eyes. At 64 he isn’t going to be how he was in his 20s. It is what it is these days

Somehow I made it 1:37 into that clip. I have no words. Motley's gotta be done. They just have to be. This is almost Dokken-level bad.

I don't know that Roth deserves to be in that group just because he's forgotten how to sing Dance the Night Away. Vince and Don are on a whole different level.HueyRamone wrote: ↑Sun Aug 03, 2025 10:28 am Maybe they can put together the ultimate festival for all these fans who dont mind paying for krap.

I saw a rumor the other day (zero credibility, but still), that Vince was being replaced before the residency. I wonder if there's actually some truth to that, and they've got another singer ready to go, and the performances this weekend were Vince's last chance to prove he could still do it.
Nikki and Tommy will ABSOLUTELY replace Vince again if necessary.

No they won't - because they cant. Promoters would drop Motley Crue like a sack of potatoes without their lead singer.Anthrax442 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 03, 2025 8:28 pm Nikki and Tommy will ABSOLUTELY replace Vince again if necessary.
Remember what happened last time? Even with a Gronwall-type talent, they'd be playing casinos and fairs overnight.
You can't just swap a lead singer in a major band, even if said singer is fat and lazy and only halfway sings these days.

I think that guy is so fucking annoying, but actually appreciated his moves in that clip, as it detracted from Great-Grandpa Neil and his "performance".Van Ailin' wrote: ↑Sun Aug 03, 2025 4:18 pmZoltan is 58, and he moves about 8 gazillion times more and better.ParaDime77 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 03, 2025 4:03 pm Father Time is undefeated. Genius. Bert doesnt want anyone else using his ego ramp. So he puts his carpet on it. "Dont stand on my ego ramp. But if you do, you'll be advertising me in all the pix and videos!!"
