I'm shocked whoever bankrolls the Crue tours would allow Vince to do these awful solo shows. Its one thing to see him stumbling through it on a stage surrounded by strippers pyro and roller coasters. its entirely another thing to see him warts and all live without a net crashing and burning. Who the fuck wants to pay hundreds of dollars to see that shit? I'd rather sit at home and watch Chris Farley movies.

There’s an endless supply of stupid people who will pay top dollar to see this garbage. That’s why it never goes away and these guys never give it up.tylamonroe wrote: ↑Thu Aug 14, 2025 1:34 am I'm shocked whoever bankrolls the Crue tours would allow Vince to do these awful solo shows. I have a feeling we may have seen the last of ol' Vince. If not now, certainly after this residency if they actually do it. Sad. We all get old but Vince should have stopped awhile ago. But, for a few years way back when, he was a pretty cool frontman who had the look, the moves (somewhat) and the attitude. Note, I did not say the voice. He was alright on albums but live he was never the best. He did the job though...

his recent shows after the health scare looks like he has had a stroke and i am being serious. His mouth is taught and though he never was a live singer, it is now way off.

How long will MC wait until they officially announce a replacement for Vince Neil?

For how many years have been talking about what a train wreck this guy is and how little time he has left ....

That show was on calendar last December prior to residency getting pushed back from spring to fall.. plus sales for that show were pretty weak with ticket prices at $95 -$125HueyRamone wrote: ↑Wed Aug 13, 2025 4:02 pmReally seems like something that would have been on the calendar far in advance.
Also, Motley clearly doesnt rehearse.
And it's not uncommon for bands to rehearse without the singer or bring the singer aboard later in the process, and letting the singer take a day or 2 off for other commitments shouldn't be a big deal.
Besides, seems to me most of what they have to do is production related stuff and not working out the actual songs for several weeks.

With all these 80's rock stars kicking the bucket and the surviving ones not looking so hot, people think if they want to see them its now or never. Saw Vince 9 years ago and he was terrible then. His voice is even worse now? And it was obvious he didn't want to be there. No encore just fulfilled his obligation and split. If you're a fan and you don't get to see him now, don't be sad. Seriously.fret123 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 14, 2025 4:16 amThere’s an endless supply of stupid people who will pay top dollar to see this garbage. Get Dolly Parton- then the residency can be at The Sphere
She already knows Home Sweet Home

Jani Lane and Bret Michaels should form a band called "Nelson II"

Sad about Vince, but they need to get Sebastian in there. I think fans would accept that.
It's too bad they got John 5 instead of someone like Traci. John is probably a good guy and everything, but he just does not fit.
That New Machine company that took them on recently has got to be regretting that decision.

No way, in a year or two we'll get a "doing it or the fans".

He definitely had the facial expressions and when he talked sounded like he had a stroke. As far as his singing he sounded like he had a stroke or was having a stroke for 30 years.

Seems many bands at some point decide they want stable and reliable work mates, not charismatic but dysfunctional rock stars.
See also: Bruce Kulick replacing Ace and Vinnie, Andy Sneap replacing KK Downing, Tony Martin replacing Ozzy, Dio and Glenn Hughes.
They won't create magic but will show up and be capable without drama.

Faulkner, a charismatic non-dysfunctional rock star, replaced Downing.

My suggestion is for Motley to pivot to more of a celebration tour/residency. Bring along a handful of guys who love the band and can rotate on lead.
Black Sabbath just showed all the really aging rockers how to do it. There are only a few bands left capable of playing their stuff with their original singers. Motley isn't one of them.
Go full on "celebration" mode with Bas, the CEO, Lzzy, and whoever else. It would be one kick butt residency.

By the way, did Sharon ever say which band she kicked off the Ozzy show because they wanted money?
Makes me wonder with Vince doing his own shows for the money, when he’s clearly not up to it, if Motley were the group. I know Nikki said it was due to medical issues, but clearly Vince is out there for a buck.

I thought it was Megadeth that wanted money for the Ozzy show.

Kelly already said it wasn't Megadeth, almost as soon as some fool said it was.Rocker4Real wrote: ↑Sat Aug 16, 2025 8:20 am I thought it was Megadeth that wanted money for the Ozzy show.

His vocals will likely be 100% pre-recorded for Vegas. As usual, they won't admit it until a couple of months later when Nikki vaguely cites 'residency demands' as an excuse, sidestepping the real reason.
