I heard Trunk talking about this the other day. Curious as I’ve never listen to anything from the band. What should I need to know?

I dig them.
Lots of fun songs. I saw them on Tuesday, and it was something special. They played a sold out 2500 capacity venue. Everyone in there was totally into them for every note. They’re gonna be big really soon.

I used to see 3 little girls on YouTube covering Metallica and shit. Didn’t realize they were the same girls as The Warming, years later. I dig some chick bands, and they are good. Can’t name a song, but I’ll listen to them occasionally.

Take away the "barely legal" angle, and none of you "skeeves" would even know/care who they are.

Yeah, Pau is awesome. I’m looking forward to their next record. They have enough good songs already to keep me interested for a while.OKWhiteFalcon wrote: ↑Sun Jul 27, 2025 6:39 pmSame.

One thing I will say about The Warning, their marketing team is making effort. My social media feed is littered with their stuff. With that said, I've never checked em out. Although, I am going to see Mana this Fall.

That is how I got into them. I kept seeing their stuff on social media. I noticed one of my friends liked their social media accounts. I respected his opinion in music, so I asked him about them. He gave me some recommendations, and I listened to their music, I enjoyed it, and I saw them last week in Chicago.

I've seen a gig there, Gustavo Cerati around 2003. It's a good venue.

And a clip of "Automatic Sun" from the movie, pretty rockin'.

I saw it last night in theaters. Very entertaining. I’m glad I went.
They’re about 30 people in the theater. Some of them get up and start jumping and singing a little bit. A little annoying, but I still enjoyed everything.

Maybe I just don't get it or I am missing some kind of point with this band, but I haven't heard anything from them that I really like. I dunno. They're just okay. Agreed with the earlier post about their marketing/social media team. They are EVERYWHERE in my Facebook reels. If I scroll through that for 2 mins I'll have seen 10 Warning clips. Happened just this morning, in fact.
From what I've seen, they seem like they're overacting and overexaggerating on stage at times, like they're in School of Rock or something. I know, I know it's a performance, I just get the trying too hard vibe sometimes.
But the bass player is very nice to look at and has terrific hair.

*I kinda want a new screenname. Seriously. I barely watch racing anymore.

You just don't get it. Not everybody is gonna like every band and that's OK.

If you are seeing a "barely legal angle" for girls in their mid 20's there's something wrong.Wild Obsession wrote: ↑Mon Jul 28, 2025 8:46 am Take away the "barely legal" angle, and none of you "skeeves" would even know/care who they are.

No.
Halestorm wannabes … their best song is not as good as Halestorm’s worst song.

Yep. The band has never played that angle at all. Not in song lyrics or appearance.HORRORHOLIC1979 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 30, 2025 4:24 amIf you are seeing a "barely legal angle" for girls in their mid 20's there's something wrong.Wild Obsession wrote: ↑Mon Jul 28, 2025 8:46 am Take away the "barely legal" angle, and none of you "skeeves" would even know/care who they are.
