Not bad. Definitely has a modern-day Leppard sound to it. Lyrics are pretty cringeworthy though. And why is he playing bass? Just for the video, or does he do that regularly now?

Sounds exactly like a 2025 Def Leppard song….and that’s not good.
It’s not awful, but it’s nothing I ever need to hear again.

It was co-written with Mutt Lange and sounds like it. He hasn't changed his sound in 40 years and apparently has no desire to.

The guitar riff sounds like a slower version of One Night Love Affair.

The song is pretty bland and it delivered with as much excitement as the first single from a new Bon Jovi album.

He is worth seeing live, though. His voice is still great and the set is filled with many of the classics.

I lost interest after Room Service. That was a cool record. After that, maybe one song here and there. He was never a deep lyricist but he had more depth than this.

Agreed he is still great live. Saw him at the Garden. It was just hit after hit. A great night.

DId you catch the Garden show recently? I last saw him in 2023, here in Canada. You're right -- I think every recent release has had a couple good songs. I just miss his newest songs having that sense of "urgency" we hear in songs like Run To You, Lonely Nights, There Will Never Be Another Tonight, and others.

He's toured as a trio in the past, him playing bass and with guitarist and drummer.

It's the typical Bryan Adams formula: 90% bullshit cliche lyrics over a decent-to-pretty-good (yet rote) guitar riff.
Any semblance of original thought hasn't entered Adams' head since at least the mid 90s.

Definitely sounds like a modern Def Leppard songs, lyrics suck though

He sounds the same. His voice is the same. He even kinda looks the same.

But no matter how many "good" songs he puts out, it's never going to be the same. The '80s was a real lightning-in-a-bottle decade.

Wow, is that normal for an artist to release the single six months before the album comes out?

He had hits in the 90’s too so he’s not a totally 80’s guy but yeah….since then his albums have gone widely unnoticed. There are still some good songs to be found, I guess the door just shut on him as far as having new hits goes.

He’s doing just fine headlining Madison Square Garden again soon so I’m sure he’s not complaining.

Bryan released a new song and video a few days ago, I think it’s called “Will We Ever Be Friends Again” … slow song but it’s a quality tune not filler.

Kinda bummed I haven’t bought the new Rick Springfield compilation, I always buy Rick albums but I’m poor AF … poor AF … suck whoever’s D you have to to keep your high paying job because if you lose it you’ll never find another if you’re of a certain age and female.

I don't mean to hyjack the thread with this.. but why does the Spotify version have only 16 songs? They eliminated the only 3 songs I knew and liked! Victoria's Secret, Our Ships Sinking and I Hate Myself.

I looked this up and yeah, headlining NHL arenas with Neil The Spider and his hanger on. I severely underrated Mr Adams' drawing power.

I haven't listened to anything Bryan Adams has put out since the early 90's but I clicked on this one out of curiosity and it wasn't bad at all. The guy sounds pretty much the same and looks great for 65.

People think this is actually a good Bryan Adams song? There was obviously zero effort put into the songwriting and production. For an artist that has had numerous great songs, this falls way short of that standard.
