What albums are perfection, start to finish?

The one that started it all. Spreading gossip and insults since 1998.

Revis- Places for Breathing
U2 - The joshua Tree
Fuel- Sunburn
Thrice- The Artist in the Ambulance
Crowded House - s/t
ELO - Discovery
Dishwalla - Opaline
Dokken - Tooth and Nail
Winger - IV, although Blue Suede Shoes brings it down a little.
Lynch Mob - Wicked Sensation is very close

Rush - Moving Pictures
Black Sabbath - Heaven And Hell
Motley Crue - Shout At The Devil
Judas Priest - Screaming For Vengeance (might be my all time favorite)
Ozzy Osbourne - Diary Of A Madman

Duran Duran - first album and Rio are very close to being on my list. As is Arcadia - So Red The Rose.
The first two W.A.S.P. albums are contenders as well.

Dokken - Back For The Attack (if they removed about 3 songs from it)

It's funny how we think of an album as better if we take away one or two not as good songs even though the same great songs are still there.

I dunno. It’s a solid album, but I personally think Don beats out George with Up From the Ashes.

I like Hotel California, but it's not my favorite.
The Long Run is perfection, start to finish. And also Eagles Greatest Hits from the mid 70's, but as a greatest hits album, it can't really be included.

Wait a minute....The Hunger is a good song. Why don't you like it?

Also, Lynch Mob Self-titled is better than Wicked Sensation. History will show that to be true hundreds of years from now. Wicked Sensation really only has two or three good songs. Self-titled has about six.

Yeah, I know. I understood the assignment. I think all those records are awesome from top to bottom and if you don't, then great, you don't have to. You asked a question, I answered, and that's that.
Fair enough!

The Hunger just seems like filler to me. Also, for some reason, Mirror Mirror doesn't do much for me either.. But still, that album is super solid. With that and Wicked Sensation both in the same here, even with as much as I like Dokken, I was happy they broke up.

S/t Lynch Mob is super solid too, but something just feels a little too manufactured for me. Wicked Sensation had more of a raw feeling to it, even with the slick production. The songs are all great on S/t, except I hate Tie Your Mother Down. Cold is the Heart is in my top 3 LM songs. But overall, to me, the album just doesn't have the "vibe" that the first one had.

Fair enough. Appreciate the response.

Regarding Lynch Mob s/t I think When Darkness Calls may be one of Lynch's best solos ever.

A question for you if you feel like answering: Do you like the horns in Tangled In The Web? I think they're great, but I've read that George wasn't a fan of the idea at all. It just seems like without them the song would have too much free space if that makes sense. I think they were an unexpected, yet cool addition. Anyhow...Good Day My Friend.

Terrible. Synth horns in '92? Cheesy, desperate attempt to get airplay. Didn't work.

Minor Threat - Not only are their "records" perfection, I'd say their whole discography is perfect.
Complete Discography is a compilation album by American hardcore punk band Minor Threat, released in 1989 through the band's own Dischord Records. As the name implies, it contains the band's entire discography at the time, including their three EPs, the Out of Step album and Flex Your Head compilation tracks. Some tracks were unreleased at the time and didn't appear on this compilation, but were later released. This includes the songs "Understand" and "Asshole Dub" from 20 Years of Dischord.

As a HUGE lifelong Beatles fan I gotta say a gigantic "nope" to this one. Tons of shit on that album and it should have definitely been a single album full of great songs (or solo album with a few more crap songs each).
