I just watched “dog day afternoon” for the first time. Another great one!
It seems like you're catching up on your 70's movies.
I have one for you. The Omega Man, starring Charleton Heston.
It's about a pandemic, although that word was never used. They just called it a virus.
And everyone who didn't die from it, was a mutant. And he's the only guy who's immune.
It's a good movie, give it a go.

The Simpson did an excellent parody in Treehouse of Horror VIII called Homega Man.
Incredibly funny, and it's the first thing I think of whenever that movie is mentioned.
I watched that goddam THUNDERBOLTS the other night. It was very MEH.
It's weird because I like a lot of the cast, but liiiike, I started watching the movie and I was thinking: "Oh. This is the setup part. Soon the actual plot and action will start", then eventually the movie ended and I was just like: "Oh. That WAS the movie."
It was really dumb tho. All of the characters were cookie-cutter one-characteristic cyphers with no depth whatsoever, all of their actions were idiotic, and they did that thing where probably thousands of people would have died during the action shown, but at the end nobody really mentions that and is totally happy.
I'm pretty much done with all things Marvel...just poke my head in ever so often to see if they stopped sucking.

It's been that way with most of the Marvel stuff since the last Avengers movie. I find the best way to enjoy them is to have low expectations.
