The strobe lights make it seem like there is some movement.

Ma, that's a lot of stage for them to not move around on. I think it worked better in the first 2 songs, when they were pretending it was the Starwood or whatever.

I fucking hate the modern empty stage no-backline look.
It's just a big empty space with lights and video screens in front of which four dorks and walk around lifelessly while two thick legged cheerleaders try to supply excitement.

Yeah, I mean, at least put fake amps out there, whether you use them or not.

Yeah, the giant high-def video screen has definitely replaced practical effects and stage pieces at most concerts.
I don't need Eddie or a giant sphinx, but some creativity would be nice.

It has all the impact of one of those videos of logs in a fireplace you can put on during the holidays.
I meannnn, I get it, it's a modern preference, but it is off-brand for Crue...they need girls who look like they dance 8 hours per day while working their way through an 8-ball. You know...hardbodies.

Yeah, I hate that it is like: "HERE IS A VIDEO FO FLAMES! IMPRESSIVE, NO?" instead of the real thing.Mister Freeze wrote: ↑Sat Sep 13, 2025 3:07 pm Yeah, the giant high-def video screen has definitely replaced practical effects and stage pieces at most concerts.

I am actually gonna finally sit down and watch it.
I wouldn't be surprised if next month marks the end of Motley Crue as this is just a contractual obligation at this point.

They look of a shell of the shell of a band I last saw on "The Final Tour" in 2016.

John 5 Lowery has all the menace of milk and cookies delivered by Adam Lambert.
That they got this goody goody shred head to replace Mick fucking Mars is further proof of their utter uselessness.
Loud , Rude , AGRESSIVE was what Micks add said that made Sixx call.
John is NONE of those things.

John seems like a good guy, and I am sure he's a great guitarist (I am not personally familiar with his playing) but just the height of his guitar alone should have disqualified him from being in Motley.mfgtr wrote: ↑Sat Sep 13, 2025 8:29 pm John 5 Lowery has all the menace of milk and cookies delivered by Adam Lambert.

THis honestly reminds me of those final Jack Russell shows. How badly do these assholes need the money to cart this joke machine out there. Come see our cognitively delayed singer recover from a stroke….live. I mean good for Vince for trying….. terrible for his “friends” for pushing these shows through when he clearly isn’t well.

John performs like a session player that is in a session. Talk about Bruce Kulick having no stage presence. I'm not familiar with that venue, but for a residency, it's underwhelming to the Nth. Then with the band...I'd skip it if handed a free ticket on Vegas Blvd.

Wow that’s bad.
Who the fuck pays for this crap?
I know not everyone is on sludge but you would have to be living under a rock to not know the state Motley Joke is in.
Or are they giving tickets away at happy hour? Like buy 1 cocktail get a free ticket.

Lip syncing?
They could not do these shows without pre-recorded stuff, so what can you do.

Well, I meant that when the artist has a contract signed to do these shows, the only option is just to pull those through somehow.superglide88 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 14, 2025 8:27 amRetire?

Last summer Motley played the North Dakota State fair. Vince was obviously vocally challenged but serviceable all evening. Watching this video, I agree with the other poster that stated the band finishing Residency up and calling it a day officially for Motley. Of course, Vince will continue traveling and playing every weekend or so.

Re: Crue residency starts Friday night
Anyone who thinks that is ACTUALLY Vince singing live... is beyond delusional!
As a singer... for 40 years, and knowing how the voice works, and seeing him flail for a few decades barely enunciated more than 30% of the lyrics... this is ALL tape!
Tape meaning... some form of sample, a cloned (AI) voice, or perhaps, a Robert Mason/Ozzy situation. Meaning, the guy who sang "The Dirt" tracks is back-stage in a room, mic, monitors, lyric sheets, hot tea, video cams pointing at Vince (face, mouth) for the entire show and this guy is doubling him, or basically taking the lead.
There have probably been a group of studio wizards working magic with random live takes, and inputting his voice into a sampler, or other for the last 6-8 months. They have been locked away in a studio, testing out how to do it, how it works, how it won't, and more.
Not to mention... in all the clips I've seen... Nikki and Tommy talked more in between songs than Vince, and he's the singer.
Then those 3 shows he did 2 months ago, were less than stellar, and showed a clearly diminished vocal ability, and even his movements, to walk, etc.. were slower. They ar in these clips as well.. but his voice is BETTER than it's been since the mid 90's? Ummm. No!
The lighting and minimal use of the big screens for close-ups on the guys is also a hint.
I have watched a few videos and seen a full show clip for 30-40 minutes, and never saw a close-up of Vince at any point.
Also... the lighting is minimal when it comes to lighting the guys. And they did this with ALL of them, even the other 3... because if they put a follow spot-light on any of the others, and not Vince, that would look odd... so there is literally next to NO direct lighting on them.
There is no chance Vince is singing that... and if he is... it's minimal and what he is singing is being "enhanced" by other means... no doubt in my mind.
And hey, I am not a hater here... just stating my opinion and some facts... Vince is not singing like they want you to believe.
The million dollar question is... what happens to Motley Crue and their plans after October 3rd?
Doing this in the same room, through the same system, with all the on-hand staff, crew, etc... in Vegas is one thing... pulling this off at a Festival where there are 10-20 or more bands and the related hanging around all day... Nope.

For the past month face value for the balcony - which I actually prefer in that venue - were $55 and even less on the secondary. Very cheap for Vegas.
