He was obviously saving her from herself and her bad decisions in life to that point. What a hero!

BTW, did anyone else read abkut the Fox presenter who's called for homeless people to be summarily executed with a lethal injection because .... well, why not? Maybe DontDamnMe can let us know if that's actually another example of the evil Demo-commie-fascists who hate America?

https://www.newsweek.com/fox-news-host- ... ss-2129492
Just look at the housing thread, dude is almost homeless
DDM has gone completely off radar in these Kirk topics. Maybe the kid is weeping and radicalizing in his parents basement? Who knows. Does he have acces to guns?
He's not a kid. I'm going to guess he's in his 50's. He was also a Qanon crazy, so there's that.
There was a conversation a couple of months ago regarding his landlord.
I sympathized because my landlords are assholes too.
But find that thread that he started, and see how he handles life. It's pathetic.

Sure they do - everything is "out of context". They don't appear to understand what that means.

Trump skips Kennedy Center prayer vigil for Charlie Kirk to golf: report

President Donald Trump reportedly skipped a prayer vigil for slain conservative commentator Charlie Kirk Sunday at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

The president’s public events schedule was blank for Sunday, The Daily Beast reported, and his press schedule indicated he was spending the weekend at his Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J. On Saturday, Trump pontificated about suspect Tyler Robinson and his alleged radicalization while discussing the shooting at the “Hope Through Education” gala held at the New Jersey residence, TMZ reported.

By 6:30 p.m. Sunday Trump was back in the White House, TMZ noted, practically down the block from the long lines of people hoping to get inside the auditorium.

Numerous GOP luminaries were on hand, including Trump administration officials, as the vigil kicked off at about 6 p.m.

I don't really want to. I've always loved Sammy, except for the first 20 years in Van Halen.
Yes, I held a grudge for that long.
But I got over it eventually.

OK, well thanks for that. I think that helps a little bit.
I've been over it for a long time.
But Goddamn! I hated Van Hagar at first!
Van Halen had a voice, and it was David Lee Roth.
And I know dudes are all, but it's Eddie's band and his guitar, blah, blah, blah!
I know that, I get it!
But singers are hard to replace.
It's almost never been done successfully.
Van Halen had to go a whole different route.
AC/DC was seamless! To this day, most fans don't know that Bon Scott ever existed. That's a shame, but it's true.

Nah, hates a waste of energy.
And your right about Dave in Van Halen, he was the focal point that most folk noticed.
When Sammy joined he was Eddie’s singer.

As far as Kirk and his death goes, here in Oz, until his death I’d never heard of him.
Can’t get away from him now.
The things he said and did were horrendous, I heard on a podcast this morning his “company” raised millions of dollars.
The fact this other guy shot him is also horrendous, but I’m not surprised.

I'd never heard of him either, until Musk took over Twitter.
I never tweeted myself, but I am a political news junkie, and I would read stuff.
After Musk got it, it turned in to a right wing cesspool.
That's when I first heard of Charlie Kirk.
I was surprised to learn he was married after he was shot. I had him pegged for an incel for years.

I judged it to be a young person thing, from what I hear now it’s not a place I’d be interested in.

In fairness to Eddie and the band, Dave did go solo. He had to have known releasing CFTH was going to unleash a sh*t storm
within the band. He left four months later with CFTH climbing the charts.

Eddie hated relying on covers after DD and Dave went and released a successful covers ep

I agree with you to an extent. But Dave wasn’t Ozzy. Given where Dave ended up by 1991, he did the band a favor by leaving.

From 1978 to 1981, VH were unf*ckable with. After FW the cracks started to show.

I know fans think there is no comparison but Dave and Kevin Dubrow were their own worst enemies.

Had Kevin not been so insufferable it’s possible Randy would have stuck around or never auditioned for Ozzy

I could be wrong but Kevin later gained a reputation and it seemed like that was there almost from the
beginning.

They never liked each other. Rob Fleischman said in his recent interview that even in 78 the bros couldn't stand him. Eddie threatened to quit several times but always chickened out. Dave's solo EP and movie deal were the last straw.

Was there anyone the VH bros. liked? Or were their egos too massive to be able to contend with anyone in the band besides themselves?

Well, remember that the reason that he joined the band was because he had a PA and they needed one. I guess they always saw it as it was their band and they let him in, but we all saw how he ended up taking things over bit by bit.

Can't wait to see Pedo boy falling asleep at Chuck's funeral. :D

And I know the right-wing tards are desperate to keep this useless chud in the spotlight because they don't want him to wind up like Rush Limbaugh. You know, dead, then completely forgotten in about two months. Let's hope this plays out the same way.

And fuck Sammy Hagar.
