Anyone see opening night of priest/alice
Priest played 14 songs and closed; Alice always makes the most of his time playing 20 songs. I guess COC just had 30 minutes. Any Mississippi sludge reviews?

Just came here to write that it's 2026 next year. Turbo 40 tour, baby!
A retro tour with all of Turbo performed will be awesome. Can't wait to hear Reckless live. Never played, the video on youtube is fake.
A pretty good fake with crowd noise and vocal echo piped in to sound like an arena show but there is no location and they never played it.

Was thinking of checking this out in a few weeks. I love Painkiller, but I'd rather hear other stuff live.
Did I miss something, or has this been announced as a "Painkiller" tour??

Freewheel Burning
Breaking the Law
A Touch of Evil
Night Crawler
Solar Angels

I watched the livestream from Hellfest earlier this summer and while I thought they sounded pretty good, the setlist was pretty shit.daveg wrote: ↑Wed Sep 17, 2025 6:46 am Was thinking of checking this out in a few weeks. I love Painkiller, but I'd rather hear other stuff live.

Very interesting setlist from Alice. I wonder if since Priest is highlighting Painkiller, Alice decided to highlight the Trash/Hey Stoopid era, as a throwback to the Operation Rock N Roll tour?

Im impressed Priest would deviate from the classics that much. I wonder if this is the first time Electric Eye and Victim HAVNT been in the set.

Alice's setlist is a huge disappointment. By far my least favorite era. I've never had any problems with his setlists the five times I've seen him, but I probably would have passed on this one had I known what the setlist was beforehand. On the other hand, I'm a big fan of COC and Priest has never disappointed me, plus tickets were an anniversary gift from my girlfriend and the venue is great. $4 waters, free parking, comfortable seats. I saw Alice with Zombie, Ministry and Filter at the same venue a year ago and had a blast. Still not looking forward to Alice's shitty setlist though.

What era is it that he's playing that you dont like?Charles Bukaki wrote: ↑Wed Sep 17, 2025 5:55 pm Alice's setlist is a huge disappointment. By far my least favorite era. "Did you like the show?" "It was alright, but the $4 waters were awesome"

When it's an outdoor venue in Austin, $4 waters are indeed awesome. It's the Trash/Hey Stoopid era stuff I don't like and never did.HueyRamone wrote: ↑Wed Sep 17, 2025 6:36 pmWhat era is it that he's playing that you dont like?Charles Bukaki wrote: ↑Wed Sep 17, 2025 5:55 pm Alice's setlist is a huge disappointment. I just typed out a few more sentences about what he could be playing instead and realized I sound like one of those bitter, entitled fans that are always looking for something to complain about or think they could put a better setlist together. Fuck. I never want to be that guy. I still don't like some of the choices he made here, but he's Alice Cooper and he can play whatever the fuck he wants. I was there last time, I'll be there this time, and I'll be back next time.
