Reading my posts again, I do seem a little pissed off, but I think it's my migraine more than anything.

Honestly, Sludge is really the only place I talk about politics with anyone other than my girlfriend, and with her we make a point of limiting the conversation to 10-15 minutes a day. We get "HAVE YOU SEEN THIS!!!" out of our system and then we live our lives. I decided after the last election that it's over and there's nothing left to do. We didn't do this shit; we're not going to suffer.

If war breaks out, we're getting the F out. I'm not taking a bullet in the back for a country that can't be salvaged. What would we even be going back to? It's over.

I got, hopefully, 20-30 years left. I got more yesterdays than tomorrows, as the gf says. It's not worth the energy anymore. What did Morrison say? "I don't know what's going to happen but I hope we get our kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames."

Word of advice though: GET OFF SOCIAL MEDIA. It's an outrage machine. The whole idea is to start conflict so you stay on those sites all day.
