So, if he never wore the hat but still supported but kept to himself, is he still a piece of shit? Great liberal thinking right there.

I'm with Bono on this one. The signs, flags, hats, shoes, NFTs, bitcoin, diapers, or anything is a grift of the highest kind and people fall for it. I see yard signs (the traditional kind) for both parties. OK, if you want to "show your support." I have never seen a piece of democrat merch worn in any election in my adult life except for the color-block Obama shirts that had minor popularity in 2008 for a minute. That says something without saying something. Any country has issues, major or minor. The former President for only 43% of Americans and not ALL Americans has done more damage to the unity of this country than ANYONE in history...all for his vanity and bank account. His 2016 presidency was a con. STFU about a fake, 4-year-old "rigged election" already. That is the better option if the dude did not wear the stupid hat and kept his politics personal.

This I cannot figure out. We have this nutjob who lives on the outskirts of Columbus, OH who ran for gov a couple of years ago with no chance to win. He is a cattle rancher and runs a not-fancy steakhouse with the best beef cuts besides true A5 Japanese Wagyu. It also has a butcher shop. Unbeknownst to anyone, the place was the talk of the country and always jam-packed. Then he went public with all his wackadoodle conspiracies and blanketed his ranch with ridiculous signage. Guess who had to sell the restaurant to someone else to transform it into a different thing? I know many folks who found alternative butcher shops to frequent. Now, his name is never mentioned. Maybe like-minded folks still shop there. I wouldn't know.

There's a small local jewelry store with a big sign in the window that says "Trump Was Right About Everything".

Me and my wife both agreed that's a jewelry store we'd never give business to.

I'm the same way. I find it very odd to advertise your politics or religion. For those that place a small yard sign that doesn't say stupid shit but simply "Trump/Vance 2024" or "Harris/Walz 2024" I've got nothing to say. But we have homes in our suburb that are blanketed with signs, banners, and flags that say some derogatory things. That is not showing "support." That is showing true colors.

Kerry67 wrote: Thu Oct 31, 2024 3:19 am All of these are FACTS

1. Kamala had ZERO support in 2020 and was the first to drop out of the race because of it.
2. Biden chose her STRICTLY because she was a woman and the color of her skin (whatever it is this week) to be his VP.
3. She has pretty much been considered the worst VP in history the whole time she has been in office.
4. She now is going to "fix" things that 3 months ago, did not need "fixing" according to her and your fellow Dems.
5. NOT A SINGLE one of you democrats voted for her in ANY primary to be their nomination for this election this go around.

So, Trump may be a buffoon and a blow hard and whatever else you may call him. But at least we got the chance to vote for him to be the nomination, good or bad. I am not supporting someone who I did not or would not support 4 years ago like the liberal party.

Good luck.
All of this is a load of predictable MAGA nonsense. Obviously with the short time available for Biden to be replaced it was not the normal process, the party came together for their decision on leadership and did what had to be done to be competitive in the election. And of course you added in a dose of racism as the cherry on top.

I honestly have little to no concern, nor care for anything related... meaning Politics as a whole. Never head, and likely never will.

I firmly believe, that your vote is as worthless as a napkin from Dunkin' Donuts.

If we ask 100 people who they like on American Idol or anyone of these TV contestant shows (Big Brother, Survivor, etc..) that requires the viewer to vote, and we asked, "Do you think the poll is fair or rigged?", it's a safe bet, that a solid percentage don't truly believe their call in vote really matters.

In short, many think these shows or programs are all scripted and the outcome is decided long before we see episode 1.

The same people will also say; "I don't trust they're being honest" or find many reasons as to why clicking on your PC, mobile app, texting or calling in to vote, is simply getting lost in the ether, while the executives and big shots at these companies and corporations behind the scenes are making the final decisions.

Fair?

Same applies for the various Beauty Pageants, and everything from local contests, to sports and competitions on a National or International level.

If you don't trust some Producers and big wigs at some Entertainment company in NY or LA, why would you trust the Politicians from Washington D.C.?

It has been this way forever, and even more in today's world, where Side A think that Side B are crazy, unhinged, deplorable and the rest. But their side, their view, their opinion is researched, confirmed and the better choice. Of course, this also applies with Side B and their thoughts on Side A.

"I read a poll that says he is winning", the other side, "I saw a poll for the same state, but it's a trusted poll, and it says she is winning" and the tennis volley continues.

In reality, it's pretty much an even split, and usually with any of these polls / elections. It's like asking Google if Dark Chocolate or Red Wine, or eating a lot of Vegetables is good for you. One article says yes, the other says no.

With that, if you think 50% of the world is nuts, but your side is sane, then you are equally the nutcase and guilty of being stupid and ignorant.

Sadly it's not even about Policy or the Politics at this point, people either "like him and hate her", or "like her and hate him", it's about the person.

It doesn't matter what he or she say or do, the other side will dig up a reason to inform the masses they "lied", or "flip flopped" or point out why they're no good.

I have never voted, and never will... my 10 minutes is better spent power spraying my garbage cans so they don't smell.

$tEvil
I'm sorry, but not voting is plain dumb. People like yourself deserve to lose your democracy.

We do live in a Free Country though, and it's not mandatory to Vote.

I choose to not Vote.

The is not the same Republican party. It has been taken over by the far right extremists. So to say both parties are the same is patently false at this point in time. Yes, the Democratic Party has far left extremists, but the GOP now ARE the extremists. Everyone that didn't get in line and pledge their loyalty to der Fuhrer Trump (Kinzinger, Cheney, Romney, and many many more) was attacked and primaried out of the party by Trump and his loyalists, or didn't even bother to run again because they knew it wasn't worth.

It's absolutely frightening what's going on... and it's really sad that so many Americans don't seem to really grasp how dire things might get.

Trump says he's going to let nut job RFK Jr run wild in the department of health. He says he's going to put Elon Musk in charge of downsizing the federal government to the tune of $2 trillion dollars. Elon today boasting that Americans are going to have to suffer hardships. Isn't that nice, the richest guy on the planet telling us all that we're going to have to suck it up and do without.

You non-voters and MAGA mush brains have NO idea what's coming if this lunatic and his merry band of clowns gets their way. It's going to be a shit show unlike anything the world has ever seen if Trump wins. Don't take my words for it, take his!

Conservatives here seem to shit talk Kamala.
Liberals seem to shit talk Trump and the posters that support him.
Calling them stupid, evil etc…
Why is that?
Do liberals treat every facet of life this way?
If someone doesn’t think like them, or just in the political arena?
Genuinely curious.
But you don't question why conservatives shit talk Kamala? Or why we don't think like them?
You're not genuinely anything, but to answer you question, no we don't.
But we do not want the orange asshole in office again. It was a disaster the first time.
You try to call yourself non partisan, but we all know you're a trump supporter. Why not own it?
I get shit talking the candidates.
I don’t understand calling the people that think differently pieces of shit, stupid etc…
Because if you support that orange POS, you're one of 3 things. Racist, stupid, or selfish. Or a combination of those.
And frankly, most of his supporters are racist and stupid, very few are rich...those would be the selfish ones.

Think differently? About what? Immigration? Economy? What's your main issue? How do you think?

But please, what trump policies make you want to vote for him?
In all these years, I have never had anyone lay them out for me...Do tell.

I'm not voting for POTUS, or any state or federal offices. I will be voting in my county elections as well as the referendums on the ballot. I will also be voting in the municipal elections next year. I care more about the outcomes of my municipal and county elections than I do state and federal elections.

If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

And a dumb one at that.

It's absolutely idiotic to contend Zep weren't A-listers in the 1970s.

Just completely idiotic. Hmm, should I vote to save democracy in my country, or sit at home and let it turn into a fascist regime where I no longer have any say in the future of the country for me and my family?

I genuinely despise both major party candidates. I live in Illinois. If Illinois goes red, The Democrats have a lot of problems. A lot more than me deciding not to give approval to their awful candidate. I’ve always cared more about my city and county government and state or federal.

It's like there's a magic spell cast over you. Read my previous post again. Slowly. The election has nothing to do with not liking both sides.

Please articulate why Kamala Harris is an awful candidate.
