No doubt we have a tough challenge this weekend. Dallas is playing good football. We have our work cut out for us, but I'm confident we will be up to the challenge. You certainly hope we can get some more consistency on the offensive line. We need to be able to protect better as well as open at least some running lanes for whoever will be carrying the ball. Dallas has some fierce pass rushers that will be coming off the edge with incredible speed and quickness, and we need to be able to contain that. That will really be the key to this game, IMO.

Preciate that, man. I have to be honest about the fact that we aren't playing very good football right now. The injuries are a factor, but they aren't the only factor, and there's no point in making excuses. I think some of the problems can be corrected. If we can win some games down the stretch and get into the playoffs, we should get a lot of people back from injury and then who knows what will happen in January. I'm going to make a suggestion to P13 that may help his Colts win the game on Sunday:
Switch out your mid-day shift for the early one. If you can't do that because you don't know how to make McMuffins then offer to run the cash register. Either way, make sure you get the early shift. Then get yourself cleaned up and over to Lucas around 2:00 instead of waiting until halftime. This way you can give Manning a proper BJ before the game instead of him having to settle for a quickie at halftime. Peyton will think it's an 8:30 start instead of a day game, and he'll be so relaxed he won't even flinch before Dallas' defensive lineman hit him.

Seriously, I don't know how many career rushing yards Peyton hasn't amassed, but fleet afoot prolly wasn't on his pre draft workouts checklist. He's being hit a lot this season. Contrary to Greg's FINE analysis, if the five guys in front of the QB don't protect him, Indy won't be beating anyone.

This is very simple. When two teams that you don't like are playing against each other you just look at their records. In this case it's 6-5 against 3-8. If one team is basically out of it and the other team is contending then you root for the team that is out of it. If Dallas wins it doesn't help them reach the playoffs and actually worsens their draft order in April. If Indy wins it could mean they take control of their division. So if you dislike both of these teams, the best outcome is a Dallas win.

Lets take a nice look at the Colts playoff picture on the road back to the Superbowl.

They are 6-6, on game behind Jax @ 7-5 with Jax currently owning the head to head and conference tiebreakers.

They will be 2 games behind whoever loses the Pitt vs Balt game tonight for the 6th seed and 3 games behind whoever loses the NYJ vs NE game tomorrow night for the 5th seed. So the wild card is most likely not going to happen.

If they do manage to overtake Jax for the division they are currently 2 games behind KC for the 3rd seed.

So basically they need to take 3 out of 4 with one of those games being a must win against Jax to at least even out the first tiebreaker and then 2 of the remaining games being against TN that they have to win to catch up on the divisional record.

So unless the Jags stumble down the stretch it looks like the Colts road to the Superbowl goes through a ticket agency.
