Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
TNA President Dixie Carter tweeted the following today: "TNA and Vince Russo have mutually parted ways as of this week. The separation is amicable and professional," confirming rumors that Vince Russo is no longer with the company. She followed just a moment later with "We are glad for the opportunity to have worked together and wish each other nothing but good luck and success in the future."
Shore's Slant: There is the official word. Let the party begin. The tweet is ambiguous enough that you can't tell if he quit or was fired. And it does look like Dave Lagana will take over the spot Russo held.

On the subject of Undertaker's wig:
If you caught his video last night it looks like he won't be. They showed him "cutting his hair" as some kind of a sacrifice that will make Triple H to agree to another match...Yut343 wrote:How the hell is he gonna keep that thing on for Mania?

I think what got him is when he bent his head down before the guy landed.Space Bear wrote:SebastianLeeDanzig wrote:About two minutes in, Zema Ion backflip-kneed him in the head outside the ring, causing him to immediately collapse like a sack of shit. Come on, seriously? How long have you been watching? I don't even think they'd give the win to someone with ten years of main eventing left in front of them, much less HHH.Yut343 wrote:I really hope they make Taker 20-0. Anyone think they'll fuck it up and have HHH win?
Randy Orton is apparently injured again and has been replaced by Santino Marella in the Elimination Chamber.

Mania at Giants Stadium next year is for a reason. Vince must have something planned big. Likely Takers last match. Maybe against Brock,Austin, or Cena
Jani Lane and Bret Michaels should form a band called "Nelson II"

Man they are hurting for Main Event talent right now if they gotta stick Marella in the Chamber. FUCK...

Would be a much more believable scenario than Santino "deserving" a shot...Yut343 wrote:You'd think they'd put Drew McIntyre in there to "give him one last chance to prove himself or else he DEFINITELY gets fired" then ends up kicking ass in the Chamber or some shit.

I have almost quit TNA all together. I still DVR the show, but I find myself fast-forwarding through most of it. It's boring as hell...ozzyrulz777 wrote:I forgot TNA had a ppv last weekend. That is how much I do not pay attention when I am watching it.

The Briscoe Brothers are fucking awesome! They are both still in their 20's and they were on the first ROH show in 2002. I don't know how they aren't in WWE or TNA.

I just picked that promo because I thought it was funny. I have seen s them do some decent promos and as far as wrestling goes, they are great. I know WWE doesn't care about tag teams but even Claudio & Hero are signed now. Also, Chris Hero's new name is too funny:ParaDime77 wrote:After watching that video it's pretty easy to see why the are not. Barrett broken arm and Ziggler broken jaw is what I am hearing, during the big show over the top spot on raw tonight. I had to go outside and smoke and missed the whole damn thing. When I came back in they were bringing the stretcher....Anyone see it??

Ziggler went chin first into the announce table, it looked bad before I even realized he was legit hurt. Didn't look like Barrett fell that bad at first, but the announces said something about it. Dolph came back for a dark match after Raw though.
I'm going to be pissed if the best heel from each show is off my TV for 2 months.

It didn't help that Santino landed on Wade's arm when he got tossed either. Also, I'm pretty sure Kofi landed awkwardly in order to avoid smashing the piss outta Vickie. Pretty much none of this would've happened if they'd have done the logical thing and had Jericho win the Rumble.

How Ziggles didn't break his jaw is beyond me.PWTorch has learned that Wade Barrett was diagnosed with a partially dislocated elbow. He was hospitalized at Hennepin County Medical Center last night and his elbow was put back into the socket. He was given morphine and released. He made his way back to his hotel in Minneapolis with his arm in a sling under his jacket. He seemed a little out of it, but was able to exchange pleasantries with fans at the bar. He told a correspondent who was there that his arm will be okay, but didn't offer up more details.

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
Hey Space Bear I know this will break your heart but I've read on other sites that Vince has put The Funkasaures on hold because he doesn't think his wrestling is up to par...This is the same man that has The Great Khali on TV every week.
Best lines from last night's show: Teddy Long to David Otunga "You look like Pee Wee Herman's deranged uncle"
C.M.Punk to TV audience "I know this has no bearing on the outcome of the match, but one of the E.M.T. guys looks just like R'N'R Buck Zumhoffe"
The last one was a real classic for old time fans and pretty much confirmed that when he is forced to act out what ever angle the higher-ups want pushed that he's basically being castrated.
The guy is brillant when coming up with shit at the drop of a hat don't handcuff him I.E. all of a sudden be HHH's buddy after ripping him a new one for weeks at a time.
Who could ever forget the way he tore up Nash with his LOL,WTF lines.
