Ron Paul's Cult vs Glenn Beck's Cult

Post by DEATH ROW JOE »

Who pulled a bigger crowd? Both had a gathering of the Juggalos type of get together recently. Beck held his in Dallas Stadium. Paul held his in the local enormo dome in Tampa.

Ron Paul does NOT have a cult following, you stupid shit. He had over 2 MILLION votes in the Republican Primaries this year and has SEVERAL MILLION supporters throughout the US and worldwide.

Paul got 2 million votes. Romney got 10 million. Somehow his cult members believe Paul deserved the nomination. That's why his followers are called Paulbots.

Paulbot

Someone suffering from an obnoxious personality disorder which causes them to endlessly scan online discussions for mentions of Ron Paul and then descend on those discussions with hostile invective and over the top praise for Dr. Paul, accompanied with various rude behavior including shouting down disagreement and accusing anyone who disagrees with them of being a fascist. Often characterized by not actually understanding the principles of libertarianism, the political positions of Ron Paul, or how to make any kind of effective argument for their positions. Despite being real people they have been called 'bots' because their comments often have the non sequitur like quality of computer generated spam.

Why I love PaulBots
Bear with me.

I've discovered something of a "love-hate" relationship with the PaulBots. Why? Let me explain.

I'm one of those types who sometimes turns on the AM side of the radio dial to see what the crazies are saying now. I rationalize this as "knowing what the opposition is saying", but it may well just be masochism.

Anyway, it's a bit amusing lately to watch the GOP circular firing squad playing out on the right-wing airwaves--some hosts are in Romney's tank, others squarely in Santorum's. It sort of shows which ones are paid by the establishment (because, seriously, who could be genuinely enthusiastic about the cardboard standee that is Mitt Romney?), and which ones aren't.

But in the last three or four months, the most amusing part of these shows have been the PaulBots.

DEATH ROW BLOW JOB is at it ONCE AGAIN.

The above bias article with your photoshop pic PROVES NOTHING. It's just an opinion. Do you know what an opinion is?

ONE. MORE. TIME. FOR. THE. WORLD.:

Ron Paul does NOT have a cult following, you stupid shit. He had over 2 MILLION votes in the Republican Primaries this year and has SEVERAL MILLION supporters throughout the US and worldwide.

Ron Paul DID deserve the nomination. It WAS a conspiracy, dumb-shit. The below links PROVE it.

SON. ONE. MORE. TIME. FOR. THE. WORLD.:

Here's the REAL story...

RNC Pulling Out All Stops To Keep Ron Paul's Name Out Of Nomination

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cQvszfnOSY8

Maine and Oklahoma Delegates UNSEATED and RNC Rule Change

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eZXQZQvSN48

RNC Completely Scripted To Ignore The Voices Of Ron Paul Delegates!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lo9EDIqfvJE

GOP Stealing Paul's Delegates, Using Police to Detain his Delegates and More

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KcxSRKxl6J4

Ron Paul had 7 plurality states won. Now that the RNC changed has their own rules to suit their own needs and made the criteria 8 plurality states won instead of 5 plurality states won in order to be accepted to the Republican Convention, this definitely shows, without a doubt, democracy is almost over in the US. Extremely fraudulent activity by Romney, the GOP and RNC has clearly occurred, yet the mainstream media does NOT accurately report what happened. And what also is FAILING here is your manipulative BS, DEATH ROW BLOW JOB.

Ron Paul's delegates were nominated LEGALLY. NOTHING they did was illegal. They were completely within the boundaries of what the rules stated at that point in time. Ron Paul deserved to have his name put up for nomination.

What part of THE GOP/RNC CHEATED AND CHANGED THE FUCKING RULES TO SUIT THEIR OWN NEEDS, don't you understand?

YOU are the one who doesn't understand SHIT.

The GOP/RNC want to create the ILLUSION that the Republican Party is unified...but it is NOT. Ron Paul had nearly 20% of the Republican Delegates. And under the now previous rules, not all delegates were bound to vote for a candidate, only most of them were. This means RP's delegates would've been able to convince MANY delegates supporting other candidates to change their vote and to possibly support Ron Paul. The ONLY reason why the GOP/RNC changed the rules, was because Ron Paul DID have a chance at the nomination, otherwise the GOP/RNC wouldn't have changed the rules last week, right before the RNC this week.

What a bunch of CUNTS!

To my knowledge he's basically a radio guy, and the fact that a member of the media (left or right) draws crowds like this really shows how much the tail is wagging the dog.

No. That's not how a civil discussion about this sort of thing works.

You informed me that Ron Paul had supporters worldwide.

I asked whether you had any numbers around the extent of his international popularity, because I'm honestly curious.

You can't then just tell me to go google it. You made a claim, it's up to you to provide the detail/evidence to support it.

He's run for the Republican nomination in each of the last two election cycles and participated in many, many Republican primary presidential debates.

He's introduced on TV shows as the X amount of terms Republican Representative of Texas' 14th Congressional District.

In each of those elections he utilized campaign finances from the Republican National Committee.

He is currently a registered member of the Republican party.

Sounds like just another Republican to me.

Ron Paul is NOT a Republican. He's primarily a Libertarian. The ONLY reason why he has run as a Republican for quite some time now, is because he knows he wouldn't be able to increase his support base substantially if he were to otherwise run as an independent or Libertarian. That's NOT dishonest at all, especially since he agrees with some Republican philosophy. It's a strategy...and it WORKED. Because he's DOUBLED his support base since 2008 and hence has transcended his former cult status support base and now has MILLIONS of supporters...

I thought you guys would figure that out on your own...but I guess not. I can't say I'm surprised...

More BS perceptions about me.

Yes, I do have credibility. And that's because when I'm in a discussion about something I usually know what I'm talking about and back my shit up after presenting my case. And if I don't know wtf I'm talking about, I STFU. Whereas, you don't. Pure and simple. But if you decide to in the future, then present your case. I'll read it. And no, I don't think I'm an authority. It's just that when I see stupid shit that is incorrect, I respond to it and show and/or prove why it's wrong. There's NOTHING wrong with that.

I still don't see why you couldn't just respond to a polite question with a polite answer, but I will check these out. Like I said, I'm curious as to his international profile. Since you're familiar with them, could you tell me roughly where in which film his international popularity is discussed?
You see, the problem with you is that you act like I have no credibility or something. You've known me on this forum now for YEARS. So, your questions are INCREDIBLY redundant. Because you already know I'm right.

Here's an hint: why don't you research things yourself and stop wasting my time? Watch both movies and educate yourself. I don't need to hold your hand through these things...
So you can't answer his questions. That figures.

Yes, I do have credibility. And that's because when I'm in a discussion about something I usually know what I'm talking about and back my shit up after presenting my case.
But you didn't.
You stated that Ron Paul had international support and when politely asked the extent of that support, you refused to provide a simple answer to back up a simple claim. You say I should take it on faith because you have credibility, but I wasn't even denying your statement or its credibility- I was simply asking for further detail. That's something anyone might do in a simple discussion about politics. However, when given an opportunity, you did not back your statement up with further detail. What's more, you got really aggressive about it, when you had in fact been given an opportunity to spread your knowledge.

I can't believe someone would dispute something so plainly obvious as to whether or not a Republican congressman and Republican candidate for president is a Republican or not.

'You know who' will not back down, even when wrong.
He sees it as a sign of weakness and something that undermines his "cred".
This hangup IS his major weakness.
As I've mentioned, such lameness is one of the problems with most politicians today.
They won't give in even if it's a losing cause.
